I just started this, and it's really kind of adorable. Just thought it would be a nice thing to do to start a topic where people with the pixel pets in their sigs can get them grown with many clicks. Click for mine would be appreciated

I don't think so. It's just something to put in your sig, mostly.

Thanks, and you can breed them, no battles, but if you like to write stories and stuff I'm sure you can write or draw something epic like that =P I clicked them all, and yes it's time consuming, lol.

Basically it's caused by a bad ratio of total views, unique views and clicks. Mine got way too many views relative to clicks.
I saw that both of mine had "soft shell", and by the time I'd read the topic about it in their forum, they were dead.
I think putting them in my sig caused too many views. Every time someone loaded a page on the forum with a post of mine, it triggered a view, but of course very few people clicked on them.

Picked up another one (or two) tonight.

instead of clicking them to mature, why aren't we just stealing the images straight? saves time and energy - but then of course, I know the answer to that question.

Lol, no one wants the easy way. This is why we get these things in the first place. Time consuming

Clicked - nice egg! Anyway, please excuse my noobishness (which, according to Google Chrome, isn't a word. Hmm), but what does it mean when it says the egg is soft? I read a post here saying that it means it has a bad click:view ratio, but does that mean it needs more clicks or more views?

More clicks!!!! fast! It'll die without it =( I never had the problem, but if you're a big poster, people with view your egg more than they'll click it.

Oh right, thanks. I don't post much so I don't think I'll have too much too worry about. I got it abandoned, so I guess it must have got a lot of views then. Maybe it'll sort itself out... failing that, I can just go round on people's computers clicking my egg...

Oh right, thanks. I don't think that the one from the black egg's survived (or it ran away/hid) since it's got a while to go yet, and it was saying the egg was soft.

First off, I'll start by saying that I have nothing against this topic or the pets you are breeding.

BUT! I will state that some people tend to go overboard and put too many of these things in their sigs. Try to remember that images including those of your pets, are limited to a maximum of 600x125 pixels and that your sig needs to stay at a reasonable height. We usually allow 125 pixels in height plus 6 lines of normal text maximum so, try to stay within those limits please.

I think a lot of folks are overdoing it, too. Some of them seem to think it's 600x125 pixels per image, with no limit on number of images or text. They need to reread the rules topic, since the subject of signatures seems to have been edited and clarified.

Personally, I'm fine with having a few of these in a sig, but if the sig is bigger than the post itself...yeah, sig needs to be adjusted in that case.

I have to keep adjusting my sig anyway. If I put one of my dragons in with the image and the link, they get way too many views. Dunno how everyone else is managing so much better than I...

I'd also like to know how they can keep getting views when I've removed them from my signature. The new eggs I have don't have their links or images posted anywhere, yet they keep getting more views. Had to hide 'em.
