Doh, no idea why I read that as gold not geod DOH!

This egg is heavy and rough, as if it were made out of rock. <--- same as rock one, only diff really is the geod one has a dark greenish/blue hue instead of straight grey. Also, it can only be bred to get one, can't get it from the "cave" page.

I got these eggs a couple of days ago...and now I have hatchlings, yay!

I'm having fun giving them Pern-like names...I hope all the names fit the gender once they're grown, but oh well.

Now I really want a silver egg...I adore the silvers, they're so beautiful!

Actually I got the geod from breeding two greens. So i think both stones or greens can produce geods.

what about a stone male and a green female? but id hafta wait a couple days, cuz they aint breedable ATM.....

Well, their names are Araqueth, Eirolith, and Saraleth...I'm really only worried about the last one. I think I'll be OK, but in the future perhaps I'll wait till they're grown up...

you really dont have to wait til they mature fully, just wait til they get their wings, or in case of the water dragon, get bigger.......

I'll stick 'em in my sig for a day or so. The mint and shield need more views to hatch before time's up, and you don't have enough posts yet to get them the views they need.

That's how I got my geode, actually. A friend bred their pebble/green and their stone, and got a geode out of it. Apparently, it's a geode-heavy pair, because it's produced around three so far. That's probably just in their case, but... -shrugs-

But yeah. Said friend needed some space and already had a geode, so that's how I got mine.

Consider yourself lucky. I don't even have any stones to breed. I have an earth dragon, but all she gives me are more greens. I've seen geodes where both parents were green dragons.

Heh. I think I'll start naming my greens after the chocobo food in FFVII.

Been trying to Breed ALTS myself. ;o Been attempting ALT Black, ALT Vine, and then also trying for the Geode.

I have a Female Stone and a Male Pebble. Ill try those two when they are back in action in a week. :3

the Dark green has a Gold father and the female Magi has a gold grandfather so i might breed toughs
one of the Pinks has Silver father and so does the White.

Lol...my sig is starting to look like a rainbow. I've almost reached my goal of having one of every color! If they could just grow up a tad faster, that would be perfect.

Certain dragons won't breed at all, so don't bother trying them.

Splits will only breed with splits.
Gold and silver won't breed with Christmas or Valentine dragons. Since Christmas and Valentine dragons will (presumably) only produce their type during that holiday, any other time would result in nothing but rares, which TJ09 wants to avoid, as rares should stay rare.
Other than that, breeding is really hit and miss. I keep track of mine in a notepad file so I don't waste breeding attempts on pairs that refuse to breed.
If you get the "The dragons refuse to even go near each other" message, I wouldn't bother trying them again. Supposedly it means they'll never breed, but some DC users argue that point.

First you need more than one

Yes, you need to wait a week. At some point it'll say "has bred within the past seven days" or whatever, but that's basically saying, like, you've got under 24 hours to go.

I have more than one, I just usually remove them from my sig when they're all growed up. Which I need to do to this one...

I've bred a couple of my dragons already, I was just wondering how long I'd have to wait before I could do it again.
