you fix soft shell by going to actions and clicking hide, it should go away on its own in a day or two with that

not while hidden, but once the soft shell warning goes away just stop hideing them and they can grow, hell mine had hatching cracks after i unhid them the first time

i figured by near death that he meant it wasn't eating, which happens becouse it gets too many views and thus needs to be hidden

Either way, it doesn't really seem very near death anyway. It'll be a close one, but there's worse situations for one to be in.

anyone know what the asterix next to a dragon's sex means?

I have tons.. and this isnt even it. I have 3 hatchlings that aren't being posted atm.

*2 are sick and 1, I think, is close to becoming mature*

No idea what the asterisk by the gender means, and there are actually a couple sites you can go to in order to post the dragon on the "ER". xD

And OMG, why do people dump so many eggs right on the hour, right as new eggs are being introduced? XD

All but one dragon I have is male! The only one that isn't, is my water dragon.

You don't necessarily have to be fast to get a rare, just persistent. It's just luck really.
I didn't even click on that egg immediately when I saw it. I was online very early in the morning, loaded the page before anyone else, and got lucky. Oddly enough, most of the rares I've acquired were eggs that I hesitated to click.

And if this stupid two-headed/split egg grows into a female I'm going to trade it for something else. -glares- NEDZ MALE!

Also, Devin, I would say that I hate you for getting a paper, but I really don't... I just missed out on four..no, wait, five... of them. XD And one was because I was full without realizing it. Otherwise I would have gotten the piece of crap. XD

Edit: And I know what you mean about the persistent thing. That's how I got both of the two-headed ones and the black hatchling (I snagged the hatchling AS a hatchling instead of as an egg. XD)... I just kept clicking at all the ones I could find. =P

I missed six papers before getting that one.

I finally caved and got some dragons. (Pun not intended.)
Not very good at this so far, had two eggs die on me already.

Anyway, my current ones are in my sig. I don't really want that blue one with swirls to hatch, the egg is so pretty.

eh, white dragons are more "pretty" than skywings, and the one with the swirls is a skywing, white egg is obviously white dragon
