As much as I would love that, I don't think you can do that. Dual-headed dragons won't breed with any subrace but other dual-heads. Perhaps the two heads will never agree to share. xD If you want more dual-headed dragons, you'll need to find another egg first. And have it be male, of course. :3 For the shield, if it mates with any other kind of dragon, there's a decent chance of getting another shield egg out of it, right?

I think I'm not going to adopt any more eggs until I can get some of the pretty ones. ;D There's a few on my list. In the meantime, I'm still working on hatching a couple and growing up a couple more! Lady and Vaan need company. :3
