Lady Gray, how'd you manage to get your silver and gold? I keep trying and trying, but it's fucking impossible.

The little black I'm helping is from her last brood (all blacks ) and I'm aiming for a male silver myself, but if I happen to get two silver eggs at once, or if I get my male and breed another... um, I'd need to figure out how to pull off a "trade," as I gather it requires coordination, cooperation, timing, and a benevolent computer. But I'll see what I can do. I don't want to start a dragon farm or anything, but I'd be happy to help a couple people get metallics.



Sheer dumb luck. Mad dragon stealing skillz. The gold came up on a refresh in the cave and I was, somehow, the quickest on the draw. I did a bit of a double take when the bb code and all popped up. The silver... well okay, there's no denying THAT was dumb luck. I didn't even see it, and was aiming for the egg next to it and... missed. *dodges thrown objects*

You can be the other person I breed an egg for-- if I can breed the eggs at all. In the meantime, my best advice is to stick around the cave more than the abandoned section, and to keep your cursor over the rightmost egg as they load, since as the eggs are taken, the new ones come in on that side. It's also easier to get an egg when there are only three to look at, and you aren't flying your mouse all over the screen.

Yay, I got a silver.



When I was trying to get the eggs in the cave, somebody with a faster connection would always beat me to it. So, when there's a big egg drop and most people are in the cave trying for those eggs, I camp on the abandoned page instead.
There were two silvers on at once. The second one stayed up long enough for me to miss the first one, back up to the abandoned page and click the second one to claim it.

gratz, if it genders female, could i get the first silver egg devin?

I can try to give you one once I can start breeding it. I'm aiming for one male and one female of each kind, with one hatchling of each kind (including the different styles of some of the hatchlings). Beyond that, I may try to start up a silver and gold breeding center and just turn 'em loose on the abandoned page for everyone else.

If I can just get my hands on a gold egg now, I should be set. Too bad I missed out on some of the others, like the vampires at Halloween.

actually yes, because the shield, black and blue are good starter eggs, and the winters only happen once a year, but you can use that winter if it genders female for spring, summer, and autumn seasonals too....
