Hello.. I just recently ( like today recently ) registered for the Dragon Cave.. I am far from fully understanding the whole process, but I'm sure some forum browsing on the webbie will help.. I do understand, though, that you need to get your young dragons clicks in order for them to survive.. Would anyone like to contribute to my single egg? Thanks!

geminight, the problem is you don't have enough posts. They're getting enough clicks, but not enough views.
I stuck them in my sig for a couple of hours and posted in the comic topic, which gets a shitton of views in the hour after the new comic is up. That did the trick for those two.

I have some new eggs from another site. I just like the way the hatchlings and adults look, plus I don't think I have to worry about them getting sick.

Three days is plenty of time. They won't hatch or grow up until they have about three days left, no matter how many views and clicks they have. It's been mentioned several times in this thread.

Somehow I lucked out and got a silver egg from the cave. Anything rare is almost impossible to find in the cave anymore; you have to get it from the abandoned page because so many people are breeding them.

Really? I'm pretty sure I have both alt black dragons, and I haven't breeded once.

You can get them from the abandoned page too, of course. I think what she meant is you won't find caveborn alts.

I'm trying to fill my scroll with nothing but caveborn adults, then breed my frozen hatchies and alts from my own dragons, rather than getting someone else's from the AP.

Damn, I have a lot of dragons now.

I'm back from vacation. Still sick (had this crap for over a week now) but I'm resuming my dragon raising. Didn't want to mess with it on vacation.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting 504's everytime I try to go to the site....maybe maintenance time?

It happens on a fairly regular basis. Probably nothing to worry about, unless you have eggs or hatchies that you desperately need to hide to prevent death.
