FINALLY I got a red dorsal. It was taking forever.

The run on the new eggs will eventually die down and they'll be easier to get.

I've managed to get a few, but there are many more I need. Apparently some of the eggs can produce more than one type of dragon too; the blue and yellow "glow brightly like the sun" eggs can produce either a sunrise or sunset dragon.

Anyway, if there weren't eggs you didn't already have, you wouldn't have much to do on DC.

lol, Yeah I know. I've actually gotten all of them except for the different colored striped ones. I was just getting frustrated because every time I got a "multiple banded" egg, it was always the purple kind. Red is better =]

WhooO!!! Finally got the striped one I wanted and I finally caught my unicorn..that all elusive silver.

So right now I just need a sunset (I would have gotten one today, but the person I was trading with missed my sunrise and I couldn't just take their sunset), and every striped except white/gold/yellow/whatever the hell it is.



I even have a gold and a silver up for trade and NOBODY #$%@ing wants to trade with me.

That's the main part of it, yes. You make an account (free), "adopt" one or more pets, then post their codes in your signature on various sites to get people to view and click them so they'll grow up. Then you can breed them.

They rarely pop up in the abandoned section, but they come up with all the abandoned eggs.

Edit: Clicked, and to giggle's response and he/she whom it was directed towards (...I forgot), I've had like seven or eight total before, three of which I believe were hatchlings... not entirely sure. There's no limit to how many hatchlings you can have, you just can't pick up any more after you have four eggs/hatchlings; you can breed up to five eggs at a time, though (and you can breed an egg with four hatchlings...I think you might be able to breed like five eggs with four hatchlings, but I've never tried before, and I don't remember things that well sometimes).

So, you would pick up three or so eggs, wait for them to hatch, pick up four eggs and breed another one. You'd be scroll locked for a while, but if your goal is to get a whole bunch of dragons and a couple frozen hatchlings with each bunch, it would probably be worth it (once all five eggs hatched, you would freeze two, and pick up four more eggs, breed another one, and so on, methinks). It's a pretty good collection method, and I'm going to be trying it sometime soon now that I pretty much just want to breed some stuff (read: golds/silvers/other such rares) so that I have a nice, large collection. Right now I just need a sunset and some striped, as well as two dinos and an alt vine, and striped come from breeding, so... -shrugs-

Ah, yes. I checked the DC FAQ, and it says that cracks/a big hole in the egg are perfectly normal, and that they're on the right track to hatching. Softshell is when you need to worry.
