So I am pissed, as many of us know, today is patch tuesday for WoW. So I did my duty as an adict and downloaded the patch. I spent all day trying to figure out how to make the gigantic ~7gb patch fit into my pc, my roommates pc and my girlfriends pc, only two were succesful attempts, and now, after hours of toiling over the stuff, I CAN'T PLAY!!!!!!!!! I have been waiting at the "Retrieving Character List for my realm (Blackhand) for well over HALF AN HOUR. I understand glitchyness, but this is ridiculous. The realm isn't even flooded yet, it's population is medium. So does anyone have any idea how to resolve this, or is there any advice? (Other than going to Warhammer, which at this point seems like a better idea than putting up with WoW anyway). And just in case there weren't enough issues already.... THE FRICKEN WEBSITE IS DOWN TOO. AAAAAAGGGGGHHHH. some days I just hate Blizzard.

or try one of those new chill strips, just take it out, put it on your tounge, it dissolves, just chill

They also said the realms would be down at least half of the day.

Either you're new to wow, or you haven't been around on pre-expansion patch days.

Deal with it.

I was used to Patchurdays on UO for a long time hehe

i dont even have the money to play so stuff it. i kno you pain and i miss it!



Bliz really should discount for patch days
i use to only have tuesday off and was only able to play for limited hours due to the patches...
it sucked nuggets and i even played late at night


AHhhh the good ol days. instances, rogue runs, power lvling
barrens chat, org, AH, etc etc
or just some good ol pvp/ganking in stv

So a discount of less than half a dollar? Seriously? Yeah not gonna happen

Patchurdays: This is the time for you to learn a new hobby. Before you log on the night before it clearly tells you that from 2:ooAM - 2:00 PM PST, all realms will be down. Welcome to the world BEFORE Wrath of the Lich King. Do yourself a favor and psyche yourself up for it by looking at YouTube for all of the cinematic trailers.

its what i meant, but i also meant the wow downtime

so yeah their notes said everything would be back by 6 pm PST
