I used to have an imp when playing ultima online. but that was rather a dumb being, though.

aside that experience, i imagine an imp to be always scared of everything and therefore trying to kill everything, always be eager to flee (what happens, so to speak )

After having a friend point out to me the name of Richard's minion (Yes, i really am that slow.) i have figured out that Richard's Pet is obviously Paris Hilton. She was able to slip through the cracks in the floor in Richard's house and escape while he was plotting the burnination of several more orphanages.

i don't think we're gonna see the imp. I think who we have now, Crunch, Benny, Cale, Richard, and Sooba, are the only ones. On the T-shirts it's only them, on the wallpapers, it's only them...I think the bus is full. No more passengers.

I'm not sure if we're still on the Imp subject but I thik the imp might be around for a few panels(if any) before Richard get's bored with him and lights him on fire.It's just his nature.Besides he doesn't need a minion,we are all his minions.

I know that the comic is pretty sporadic in its jokes... but that deffenately looked like foreshadowing to me. After all, it HAS a story line, its not VGCats (which is just parodies). I dont think it would be left hanging like that... but I do think that it wont come anytime soon.

They will probably meet by accident, Richard will chase it maniacally, and the imp will be forced right back into slavehood unwillingly; or something along those lines.

It has to go somewhere though... imagine they had talked about the sword of truth and the idea had just been left floating in the air... nothing done about it, no more talking about it, taken on a different plot all of a sudden... just unfinished. These guys know story telling and it'll probably lead to some awkward moment where Richard kills something (I didn't say the Imp).

Or I have another idea...

i think richard's imp would have ended up tramatised. probley after about ten minutes with richarad, the poor thing realised it was in real trouble. i mean, hell would be better than being stuck with richard. prolly safer anyhow. i see the thing huddled down, totally freaked out as Richard goes about his day. i can imagine that richard asked it to do something that even it, a demon, balked at. and thus was named.

Oh yeah. Hctib Elttil is definatly going to exist in this comic eventually.
Like most stories, random things like this never just "exist" for nothing. They have a reason. Foreshadowing, character building, storyline, etc. I'm very sure we all understand these characters as is, so dont be startled to see a little demon quaking at the sight of his master in the future, even if just for a short time.

ya know, the funny thing is that we may never see Richard's imp. As i was informed, his name in the comic (Elttil Hctib) is actually Little B*tch spelt backwards.. that may have been the trigger telling us that the imp isn't really going to hang around much... but who knows, Sohmer might decide to give it a try and see waht happens. Either way, i'm good with it

Richard should have one of those huge high level sould bound demons from WoW that are just flat out scary.
Or maybe a pit lord, that would make a cool minion for Richard.
