1° Richard in the sky was hillarious
2° spikey staff is scary
3° cale cen get serious appearently
4° Sayl was Rojave's son, here I use was since I think he's dead and Rojave might have something to do with it.

The way Benny's acting, I'm assuming Sayl's dead or something equally awful. Poor Benny! I hope she bashes Rojave good.

Now I wonder how Benny ended up married to Rojave instead. Doesn't seem like she'd end up with someone like that willingly, unless he tricked her or something.

Notice: Red Crystal in LFG is a source of power! Richard's necklace and Benny's staff appear to be made of the same thing!

YAY!!!! Richard in the Sky With Diamonds..... of Fiery Wrath made me laugh hysterically because we played Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds in my high school marching band. And the Fiery Wrath thing made me think of Foamy the Squirrel and his Squirrelly Wrath......

I have to agree though, this has been one of the best strips in a while. Quality comedy here. [= Sohmer must have had a good week cause the last LICD comic (The "K-I-S-S-I-N-G" one) was equally hilarious.

okay tell me i am not seeing things, but benny staff changed from protection, now has crystal spikes and seem to be using shadow or darkness to harm upon transformation and also did any notice that there spikes near the metal base of the crystal one is missing

and some one commented on it being the same material as richard's crystal, makes me wonder if that crystal is or was apart her staff since one piece is missing and it looks to be the same size of it..

As Cale is slashing through his "victim," I'm sure Richard is on top of the building saying:

"Yup, worth every penny."

Pretty sure this shall be the next Song Parody... I mean come on, it would be awesome!

I love how Richard couldn't settle for annihilating the thieves while they were happy and infused with the gold-lust.

Theres nothing can be said about Pella at this point that I haven't already.

Leadership doesn't quite fit. Deception would be more suiting to Richard in this case.

Me too! In fact, I was thinking about how much some of Foamys songs reminded me of Richard, before this comic was even up. XD

I agree with my brother. The line spoken by the thief Cale killed is much funnier if imagined with a Cockney accent.

I would also like to ask Cale why exactly Richard should leave the singing to Pella. We haven't seen her so much as hold an instrument in 70 pages.

So lighting up the sky with strange colors and fireballs is Richard's idea of subtleness. Funny how he and Benny seemed to forget all about not wanting to attract the Legion in just one page. Benny also seemed to forget that she wanted Richard to take out the archers -- now she wants Cale and Pella to do it. Maybe she wanted Richard to take out the archers on the wall, while Cale and Pella took out the ones on the ground. A little continuity from one page to the next and getting the characters to say what they mean would sure be nice.

Cale has reverted into incredible stupidity again. After he sees the archers try to murder Richard and Benny and probably Pella and him, too, he thinks that they could be innocent. I think even Tim could have figured out that they were guilty of something. It's a good thing that the goon was nice enough to explain things to Cale.

Now Benny's staff can be turned into a mace. So why didn't that ever happen before? I realize that mostly she has been using the staff as a shield against ranged weapons. But there have been other times when a mace would have been handy. Any battle would have a time when you are just cleaning up.

We seem to be learning one random fact about Benny per page. I guess we find out what the next fact is on Monday.

I'd like to be impressed with Richard, but the stupidity of Cale and the archers (why didn't they run when the arrows didn't work) and the continuity problems take the fun out of the page for me. Oh, yeah, some reasonable in-story physics would be nice, too.

Holy cheese! I think you're right. That would have been INCREDIBLY stupid of the theif to say of his own accord at any rate.

Agreed. I just skip the posts, because the only way I can read them is to highlight them.

It's the same situation as with Yoda. The writers trying to make clear someone is speaking a fantasy language in a dialect from centuries ago.

As for what she is saying, she's growing fond of Richard as he is of her. Soon we'll have to accept them as members of one another's fanclubs.

Pella was saying 'yes, but I don't mind' in her gaelick/northwestern european/celtic/other accent.

Aye...the ventriloquism spell would explain why that thief said so much. But the look on Cale's face, looked as if he slightly enjoyed killing the guy.

As for Richard, that whole song just brought me back to a Movie. Ten points to anyone who knows what it is.
