Not the Imperialistic Militaristic War-Mongering Warrior Society I was thinking of. Much more...Oz-like. You know what, that's the most F**ked up plot twist I have ever seen, period. But also, the funniest thing was the way "Courage" must be obtained. Bet you ten bucks that Cale will be chewing on one by the end of the arc. <.<...>.>...

Meh. I guess you have to NOT be from Kansas to appreciate that joke. Wizard of Oz...boring, overdone, and wasn't the least bit amusing. Disappointing.
However, the testicles were still in character for Richard. That disturbs me, but in a happy fun way.

Note: Unlike so many other things, they do NOT taste like chicken.
The ones I had were sliced, deep fried, a little salty, smelled like fried liver, but tasted like beef tenderloin.
I actually didn't know that's what I was eating until my friend's (then) husband told me, then smiled wickedly and offered me a plate with more. I guess he was expecting me to be squicked out, but I just sat there a moment, said something like "They're good" and ate some more.

It's hard to tell from that distance. It
could be blood.
But considering there's a corn field and apple trees, it might be something far simplier, like a field of flowers.

Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Wow... Richard has breeched a new degree of insanity. To the point where I can't tell if it's fantastic or not. I'll admit it's quite amazing though. I like his attention to grammar. Singular and plural can make a difference.

Quick! Everyone send a link to today's page to every kid they know so they can see how the REAL Wizard of Oz went! Then they can be scarred for life and be just like us.
Cale.. You pansy, grow a pair - pun definitely intended.
Richard.. You earn 2 points for being randomly odd, but insulting a film that most people adore - job well done.
This should be interesting when they reach the city.. it's all green.. Gid will blend right in or..? Ah well.. If they start whistling anything that sounds like 'We're off to see the wizard..' I think i'll personally have to take Pella out of the comic & make her sing something obscenely violent while killing you; slowly.

I know he was back, and I really liked the image of the sad bunny staring at the sea, and then the jump seen from below, with the sun shining, and all.
But then he seemed to disappear again, just as Sooba does. Maybe Lar is getting lazy? Or he dislikes drawing Bunny and Sooba so he avoids when he can?
Anyway, all HAIL the Felbunny!

My grandmother's house is filled with thousands of items from her huge Wizard of Oz collection.
Thats why I love this one so much.

I would love it more if Richard took Cale by the elbow and forced him to skip into the city.
Before setting fire to that scarecrow.
Either way, I have a new favorite quote from Richard.
"Testicles!!"
And I now
have a favorite quote from Pella.
"Why it be yellow?"
I do say, they fit together pretty nicely when used in that order.
Anyone notice the little man-thing watching them in the third panel?
