I'm not sure if it's funnier that Richard used the path of least resistance or that cale probably doesn't have a passport, seeing as he lacks the hammerspace dimension Richard has.

More likely that legaria has put up a bounty on centaur hooves, and Richard is using this to gain access, as he isn't just a killing machine anymore, he's thinking about the good of the party now. I like that about the new richard, he uses his head before his flaming hands.

He fwoomed the ground, that counts for something. He also fwoomed that pot, before smashing it into the head of the shaman

This is just great....formalities, formalities. I love the bureucratic non-paying-aettention-to-anything-one-says look on the guard's face too.
And ye I bet Cale has no passport.
And of coruse Richard didn't fwoom. He knows better than to make Legara's most wanted list on day 1.

Aug 21 2008, 07:48 AM
O, so let me get this straight.
An Undead Warlock with a bag of Centaur Hooves is seen as a common sight in Legara (probably because of the Hooves.. Bounty, I think someone said earlier)
Yet a Troll & a Panther wouldn't be..? *Sighs* I don't know..
Richard.. Eh, I can see this biting him in the ass later on, not quite sure how though.
'And of coruse Richard didn't fwoom. He knows better than to make Legara's most wanted list on day 1.'
Didn't he already manage that

I am going to have SO much trouble keeping from using that "I declare your life forfeit" line next time I travel.
Anyway, Richard has already shown that he will sometimes keep from fwooming if he can have his fun in other ways. The ventriloquism spell, for example.

Well if Richard did blast him, we'd expect him to... He's a very unpredictable force remember and thats what makes him rock. Can't say I'd be surprised if he blasted the guy in the back though

I do also get the impression he's been up this way before, would explain knowing about a passport.

I second (or third or whatever) the Richards not an idiot idea. Plus Richard proberbly knows about the passport stuff from his previous life as the baron whats-his-name.
plus also I thought the guards proberbly letting him in was reasonable because their there to stop real threats like armies and trolls i suppose, his mistake for underestimating Richard

Next time Cale complains about Richard butchering random things this is so being referenced.

I just think Richard is getting smarter. He loves to make things nice and toasty, but he also remembers when he tried that against the Battle Mages and things didnt exactly work out for him.
Perhaps making 1 or 2 guards isnt much fun and wants to get inside so he can make legions of guards toast?
Then again, how could we possibly try to understand what goes on inside the mind of a character that was created from the mind of a writer.

Cale really shouldn't be surprised at Richard's lack of sublety, he just made a giant wall of fire that had to have let everyone around know they were there.

Cale is a fool so he can be the butt of jokes and do a lot of facepalming. Richard has always been an attention whore.
----
Like a bored schoolkid, Richard couldn't avoid being naughty when the guard was distracted. Heh.
I'm not surprised the guard didn't know to try to stop Richard. Communication probably isn't that good; the guards probably get a bunch of "be on the lookout for" notices; it would have been logical to expect the escapees to avoid Legara and either run and hide or to fight with the Bloodrage; the escape was months ago; and Richard wasn't with the rest of the escapees. I don't know how often crazy undead warlocks go in and out, but I think Richard was within Legara when he first met him and he didn't seem to draw that much attention, except from the guards at Nestorep's gate and that was only due to some past history involving the orphanage.
I wonder if this page will put to rest the tauren/centaur debate. [I confused minotaurs with centaurs. Sorry.] I also wonder how the rest will get in. I think that may finally involve a fwoom once Richard scopes things out.

Looks like Richard's learning the meaning of the word "subtlety".
Also looks like Tim and Sooba popped into existence out of Hammerspace upon being referenced. Poor tertiary characters (they're not even secondary D:)

looks everything richard does, he does to amuse himself or cause he is bored. Plus he admited in the demon corpse he feels different now, he doesn't know what he is doing but he feels following Cale will leading him there. Don't fret o'fans of the fwoosh, i'm sure there will be plenty of murder and mayhem to come.

That guy has about half a million mates backing him up.
Plus, the others are all dithering and stressing about how to get past him, while Richard just asks if he can get past and in he goes.
