Honestly, I love the group but sometimes wonder if there's anyone that could conceivably compete with Richard as a villain. Sadly, with him, you pretty much have to play every Antagonist straight and it undermines the credibility of all other foes. Legara is the closest thing to a credible villain and well, let's face it, their crimes are purely being too big for our heroes to ignore.
Cale is trying to redress wrongs done by people extremely long dead.

I don't think Richard counts as a villain in LFG.
As for the actual antagonists, gotta go with Hctib. Aelloon is just too cliche.

I do believe some would consider the AM to be a villain. And I do believe some obsessive fangirls would consider Tavor the best villain.
And well, about Temmet at his first appearance he appeared to be "just" a military commander, now he actually looks like a de facto ruler of Legara. I want to see more on him - particularly, is it really him or is there a gray eminence behind him?

The villain for Richard is his own inner turmoil. *dodges the bricks*

I don't think Richard counts as a villain in LFG.
How about Heroic Sociopath coincidentally on the side of the "heroes"?
Tavor was an antagonist, but not a villain.
Aelloon Temmet is an antagonist with questionable morals and greed for power, but so far not actually worse than all the other pirates and brigands and imperial soldiers we've seen.
I can't take the imp creature seriously.
The Vulii were never presented as individuums, only as brutal conquerors.
Lord Stoll is dead. The rest is on the side of Cale and co., so by the normal heroic double standard they don't actually count as villains.
The pirate queen Tah'Vraay? She's sadistic enough.
I still vote to the Archmage as villain, because of his god complex. And because I don't like him. There.

The AM has to do something villanous in that case, sooner or later....

I think both Aeloon and Tavor will be built up into villains by the time this story arc is done, maybe the archmage as well.

Anyways, I'm waiting that we see the Emperor before I call any names on the best villain.

I'd have to say Tavor, myself. While not exactly a total villain, per se, he's my favorite antagonist.
And yes, this is my first post. Hi, all. I'm one of those guys who's been a guest for ages but suddenly decided to register.

Welcome
And yes, Tavor could end up a villain, specially if he's the real Emperor

How do you people keep ignoring Hctib? He's not a good villian, but he is a villian nonetheless.
Okay, he's a really,
really bad villain, but still. He's done more than the others in regards to villainry, what with convincing the ancient incarnations of nature to torment the hell out of, and eventually destroy, a village. Or three, that was alot of water coming, before Richard stepped in.
Then again, it'll thaw eventually, so all's good.

With the exception of hctibelttil, there aren't true "villians"
But this is a constant theme in LFG, is that good and evil aren't always so obvious, sometimes people just do what they have to do to survive as Krunch would say.
