Anyone else disappointed by the anti-climatic rescue that was Richard's escape from hell? Was hoping for something more after the trial then to simply be summoned by a third-rate shaman. I guess it just goes to show that Richard is not nearly as powerful as he thinks he is and that the Sisters can put him in his place at any time.

It's probably because he wasn't ready for what they did.
I'd be willing to bet a kidney that if he was ready for that banishment spell, he'd be able to stop/reverse it.
