So I'm working on a novel and I'm looking to get published. Problem is, I really don't like Cafepress, seeing as how they would end up charging about $10 a book, making it a rather expensive venue to get published through. I was wondering if anyone knew of some other "print-on-demand self publishing" companies similar to Cafepress that did books, and what their pricing scheme is like?

I'm still a long way from being ready to publish, but I figured I'd ask around and get some good advice one where / how to get published and get out there as an author. I have looked into various services but I haven't found one that works in a similar manner to Cafepress but is cheaper in price. Thanks in advance!
