I am so effin' tired. I had forgotten I had booked a full day gig today and I'm still recovering from San Diego Comic Con (which was AWESOME).

I'm just starting inking and am looking to have the strip up by 3am EST. I will try to keep folks updated on my progress.

Why would we hate you? You go through the trouble of making this well done comic...go to conventions for it...and put up with all sorts of insanity, of your and other's making, and being three hours late would upset us? You dishonor us Lar! Take all the time you need!

I've fallen in love with that musical.

It doesn't help that I've been a fan of all things Steampunk and Mad Scientist-y for years, and I always wanted an outfit like that, with goggles and 1950s labcoat. *sigh* Too bad that, back when I was a student at the microbiology and genetics lab, we only had those boring standard labcoats. And they didn't allow us to cultivate a good maniacal laugh. The only things we cultivated grew in petri dishes. Feh. I wonder if ecologists are allowed to carry a death ray....?

It's still up at Hulu.com in about the quality and size it was originally released on the official homepage. Don't watch it on YouTube or somewhere with bad quality, or you're miss all the facial expression and little details.

Nah, I did watch it on Hulu. The youtube versions sound was off too.

So, the pillow fight didn't help and they had to try something else.

I love the gag on "You must inscribe the individual on the scroll" which then becomes "checking off miscellaneous"...

But it seems to me we have been introduced to a new race of creatures in Legarion.

Comic is up!! I timed that well, eh?

So, here's the Dr. Horrible moment. I was talking on my cel near the booth late on Thursday and who walks by but Felicia Day, the actress who played Penny in the shorts!! I snapped my phone shtu and began to geek out on her. She was clearly in a rush but consented to a photo. Sohmer passed me a copy of the LFG hardcover to give to her and her expression went wide! She exclaimed "Are you the guys who do LFG?!"

Woot! Turns out she's a huge geek herself! She reads LFG along with a bunch of other webcomics AND plays WoW regularly. She came back Friday and gave us all autographed photos of herself. Unfortunately, we couldn't get away from the booth long enough to attend the Dr. Horrible panel and get more autographs from the entire cast.

I'd previously seen Felicia Day only in that YouTube series, what's it called... "The Guild", about a group of WoW players.

Anyway, great comic this thursday, thanks for making pella more than just a background character since the escape from the legarion fort, and the...ahem...Pillow fight.

You guys are awesome. I honestly don't think anyone here would begrudge you a day off or a late comic, ever. We all need to recover from our lives from time to time. It's the reason I always take an extra day or 2 off when I travel to a convention. Need the day to just hide under the covers.
