Hello, and welcome to the Pella of Clan Breem Fanclub. I, Vote Richard or Die 2008, Hereby start this club due to a few reasons:
1) The dislike of Pella from some people, which I don't see the cause of such dislike.
2) The sheer number of other character's fans, including but not limited to: Richard, Cale, Richard, Benny, Krunch, Richard, Sooba, Richard and Richard.
3) The very limited amount of character development that our lovable and loved Dwarven Bard has gotten, while the elder cast members get new, shiney plotlines and spiffy new sub arcs.
And Finally, the fact that the poor girl has been relegated to the background in most of the comics she has been in, with little or no help in advancing the plot.

Now, I shall describe our goals as members of the Pella of Clan Breem Fanclub.
1) To pay homage to the awesome pwnage of Pella, and her copyrighted Killer Thighs.
2) To "even the numbers", if you will, against the other fanbases, who are mentioned above, but also to honor some's commitment to multiple characters, hopefully including Pella.
3) To wait stoically for character development for Pella, as she has almost none from her inception into the comic.
and 4) To also wait with great enthusiasm for Pella to come out of the realm of the background and get into some more plot-related areas, although the last comic has done so, but only as a sort of a fanservice, though I love it wholeheartedly.

In closing, why should L.O.O.F. be the only fanclub around this comic? We might be a minority, hell we might even be a majority, but we have equal right as L.O.O.F. does to have a fanclub for a character in this comic, and by prince shamalamadingdong we'll have that right!

Due to the quite silly of the Acronym POCBFC, are official name is Pella Admirers' Indefatigable Nation, or P.A.I.N. All those who have posted in this thread are hereby honorary and official members of P.A.I.N. Long Live Pella!!!

On the weird note...I already had the hots for our diminuative heroine from another time..and then you had to throw in that pillow fight? Oh dear god...thats just so wrong (meaning right but wrong in a normal society sort of way, lol)

Long live Pella...and please please please...please...while developing her storyline..make her have to do that spell again and again and again...maybe with different types of smallclothes=D

Yes, I agree with both posters that Pella is hot.

I like Pella and would like to see some development, but pestering people for development will probably get you banned. The story is probably sketched out already so Pella will get her chance sooner or later. Still, Pella is indeed smexy, half dwarf half sexican.

I'm not sure I agree with your goals above.

1) Do you really want them to answer? This is the internet, anyone who doesn't like anything will happily sit down and write ten bulletpoints of different ways of saying they don't like it presented as reasons. Engaging in that kind of discussion seldom achieves anything.
2) More people eat greasy burgers than eat health food or caviar. So what?
3-4) She won Richard's affection by cutting off his hand. She split his skull vertically. She sings love songs while dismembering her enemies and men die between her open legs. To borrow a phrase from another webcomic, she comes from a time of monsters and high adventure, she likes smashing things and meat. Sure, we'd like to know if she's the girl the archmage promised to give a message to, or what her big secret is, but they're plot that won't be rushed. In the meantime, there is awesome to be done.

I would instead suggest the following goals:

1) To enthuse over Pella's smexy badass pwnage
2) To cheer whenever those traits are in the latest strip.

While I enjoy the other character's antics as much as anyone, I too would like to see more of Pella (and not exactly like the most recent page ). She does need some plot development so that she's more than just a pretty face that can kill you before you hit the ground.

But I agree with ryan in that we should avoid pestering. I also agree with Lord of the Dance's goals; Don't try to change people's misconceptions (this is the Internet after all), and cheer every time Pella does something awesome that even Richard can't do.

Actually that was something else I was going to add. We should filk songs for Pella. As well as a badass manslayer she is a singer-songwriter.

Also the name. When I try to pronounce POCBFC it sounds like a third division football team. I would suggest either find a way to fit the term "Pella's Murderous Thighs" into a name (everyone knows it's men who suffer with PMT) or else something like Pella Admirers' Indefatigable Nation or Pella's Official World-Wide Appreciation Retinue.

I am a card carrying member, pella is my favorite char in this comic, followed closely by felbunny

Indefatigable means that we don't tire, or fatigue. We persevere through thick and thin.
And there are no prerequisites to be either V.P. or chairman, but I'm president.

Hey, I think we're all Richard fans. Pella just needs a fanclub to counteract the flak she gets from certain people. If Tavor can have one, why not Pella?

I'm not sure about the exact reasons for not liking her, but it mainly concerns how she joined the group late in the story, so far lacks any real character development...I think there were more, but I won't list them here (I forgot anyhow). That's ok, we love Pella anyway

It's okay. Richard's a Pella fanboy at times. She makes him laugh with senselessly violent cameraderie.

I picked 'indefatigable' while thinking of the knights of the round table. It's in their song from monty python.

Alright, the chairman's job is to keep track of all the members of the fanclub, and to decide if someone can join our P.A.I.N.

I'm a fan of the guy who just tackled a dragon, but I will welcome you people to the ever widening circle of socially disfunctional people who have no lives they would not waste away drooling at fictional characters who are mostly sociopathic murderers.

There are many things you can accuse Pella of, but being a sociopath isn't one of them. A sociopath kills without a thought for their victims. Pella composes songs for her victims and sings for them while they die.

While I am a female, I would like to join this club because nowhere does it say that this is just for fanboys. I like Pella because she is badass and doesn't get enough props for what she does. I like all the character's equaly, but Pella is being mistreated and need's a galpal to give her cookiedough and gossip with her. I will gladly volunteer for said task!

This. Is. Awesome. Pella is, doubtlessly, my favorite character of the comic, what with her un-dwarven-like smexxehness, and that fact that she sings, while she's killing, to the people she's killing, about the people she's killing. I would, very much, like to join.

This isn't a Fanboy club, so i wouldn't see why a girl can't join, and the other person can too. And Richard would hate it if someone killed the only person in the group who loves death like him. (Was gonna say as much, but she's not there, yet...)

I'd be fine with just Pella. I'm not the biggest Richard fan ever, not unless they really go somewhere with the whole 'destiny' thing. If he remains /just/ comic relief, he'll get annoying fast.
