If I have to choose, I'd totally say "Dawn of War".
But my favorite game is still The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

yeah, definately WoW and Warcraft 3, though I'm starting to lose faith in Blizzard. Mythic might win me over with Warhammer if they do it right.

Of all time, it would have to be Warcraft III, but presently, I found a program where you can play guitar on your keyboard, and make songs for it. Fans went ahead and made every song for all guitar hero and rock band. So pretty much, it'd have to be that.. maybe.....

Umm... Isn't Starcraft just an advanced version of Warcraft II? I've been playing both and I can't find much difference between them other than Starcraft has some veriation between the races, but the gameplay is exactly the same.

I voted Crysis. And Portal.
Sometimes, I feel like I'm the only one who enjoyed Crysis's storyline.

My favorite game of all time is Thief: The Metal Age. The Dark Project and Thief III are also my favorites, but the second one in the series was the best.
But I'm finding myself agreeing with some of the others here. WarCraft II is better than WarCraft III! I'm not really a fan of RTS games mixing with RPGs, which is kind of what you get with the hero system in WCIII. Plus, WCII had better soundbytes. Even though I'm a strict Horde player, I absolutely loved the way the Human knights would say, "For the king." I quote it to this day. The Troll Headhunters were my favorite unit, back in those days. And the soundtrack for that game! Not only amazing for what they had to work with, but amazing, period. Glenn Stafford is a hero of mine for composing that stuff. I have it on my MP3 player. x)
StarCraft is another love of mine. Once again, even though I played Zerg almost all the time, the Terrans had the best soundbytes. Favorite unit - Ghost. Love the Ghosts' "I'm gone,"; the Goliaths' "Goliath online,"; the Marines' "Ah yeah, that's the stuff,"; the tanks' "Pro-ceedin'." (I always thought he said, "Rose eaten." o.o)

I still dislike WoW. It got old ages ago >.>;
My list is too long to keep to one game. Out of that list though, Portal Takes number 1.
Sam&Max: Freelance Police
Starcraft
Red Faction
Oh there are plenty more I just can't think of them right now ><
And the reason WC2 and SC seem so close is because they're both made by blizzard. They found a winning pattern for an RTS and just changed up the races and storyline, and made it better. SC is extremely well balanced between the three classes.

I voted for DoW. It is my favourite RTS by far... very very far lol. It turned me from a turtle player to an aggressive, all out rusher, and outside of that, it has awesome voice work and some humour (excluding Soulstorm, you can tell Ironlore was going broke, they used some of the old voices in inappropriate places). WoW was close too, but i stopped playing that a few months back, it just got old, it was the same thing over and over again, and the social aspect was what managed to keep me up to that point... having said that i already have Warhammer: Age of Reckoning on pre-order and await it like a giggling school girl waits for a Justin Timberlake concert (only more hardcore

). The only problem with it all is that it is meant to be released right before my uni exams... that's gonna cause some issues l

I voted WC3, but that's just because I play on Battlenet and enjoy the AOS maps very much.
I play mostly RTS games and some FPS and platformers when I want to not think. Also fighting games, but only with my cousins, because we always end up unable to breathe because of the laughter (the bottles of tequila may have something to do with that...)

Erm, not sure if I was supposed to, but I voted portal and WoW. I've only played the fore on the PS3, but to be truthful, I'd vote for it on the "Whats your favorite N64 game?", the latter requires no explaination, I quest, I play, I am.
