I know this might have been posted before but I can't find it. Is Richard a warlock or a mage. He says that hes a warlock but he casts frost spells. Then again, the says that it's based off of wow so it might have just been modified.

O god, you've started it....
You need to hide NOW!
I don't know when, but Tobrian could be here any second now.
This isn't based off WoW, it just incorporates some of its details.
Though Tobrian will be more verbose and eloquent with her words thats her meaning.

Heh. I've seen warlocks described as "special mages."
Normally it's an insult, but in Richard's case it's probably a good way to think of him, he has the best of both worlds.
One thing's for sure, he's not a paladin!
(Although it would be a turnaround if Lord Ashendale used to be one <shudder>.)

I meant that I had a stroke, not that I was taking the action of stroking something... hence the jabbering.

*Joins the crusade yet again*
There are more spellslinger types aside from warlock and mage, anyway. Conjurer, sorcerer, wizard, evoker, whatever you think of. Whyshould it even be limited on the warlock/mage choice?
Not. Wow. Dammit.

Well, as u seem to be one of the guys who think LFG is created on order of Blizzard, I can tell you a few more reasons:
EVERYONE calls him Warlock. Good enough for me, but if u think he has tricked them all into believing so, being the mythomaniac he is (not that I've seen any of that) look at the page where they all plan the invasion of a Legaran Fortress. Don't think Richard would react to mages in that way if he was one, eh?
Oh, and just for the sake of it: Not. WoW.

I say he's just some guy who once thought "Hey, magic is awesome. I'll learn some and be awesome!"
He did not care about titles or what kinds of spells each type of spellcaster generally uses and just decided to use whatever he liked, ending up as an undead lord of many things.
People just call him warlock because.......he's undead and shoots magic. I guess those undead few in LFG tend to shoot magic and call themselves warlocks.
Unless they happen to be one of the Sisters the Bloodrage fought a few pages back. Then I guess they could be.....priests? Were the Sisters priests? I always thought so.

I'm sorry about the WOW thing. I thought I read somewhere that it was based off WOW.

Yeah, just... no. Not again. I'll not have another LFG=/=WoW debate starting yet again.
