No i'm not talking about Global Warming, but rather summer.

What are your plans for this season of burning skin and running for the shade?
Legendaryratboy
Ummm, trying to avoid burning my skin?
Grym
Doing absolutely jack shit until my jack shit quota is filled.

Then I might go to the beach. Or camping. Or overnight camps. But most likely, all of those.
Zoran
Staying indoors, getting whiter, playing video games.

What every typical gamer does.

JacobChulainn
Various acts of arson, and baby snatching.

Nah in actuality this summer I want to investigate the claims that cougars are still present in North Carolina, and go rafting in Nantahala Gorge again.
Legendaryratboy
In all seriousness though, I'll be working, going to Chihuahua, being a Peer Counselor, taking over a couple of planets, and then slowly cooking in my own juices.

Which planets? The Evil party plans to destroy a few, and we can't have you interrupting Xenu's plans either.

Limit it to everything in Sectors 73-89, they owe us money and haven't paid yet. Make sure they suffer.
Legendaryratboy
I always have time to do some favors for TEP.
Jaezelle
My plans? SPF80. A lot of it.

Field Maneuvers. followed by... Field Maneuvers. And guess what, more Field Maneuvers! How many weeks can I spend in the middle of Arizona in the desert to get ready for shipping out? Apparently a lot.

Graspop!!!

Iron Maiden
Judas Priest

Def Leppard

Morbid Angel

Im going to St. Louis at the end of the month.

Other than that i will be working, going to school, and battling the heat of the desert.
Raven 2552
Deserts suck. Just FYI.
Sentrix
Yeah I know I have lived in Arizona since I was two.

BUT they are good for offroading adventures
Raven 2552
You haven't gone offroading till you've done it in a striker. That'll get your blood pumping.

I have often dreamt of that
Rae-Rae =^.^=
What I'd like to do this summer:
-Visit Wisconsin for a week or two
-Cosplaying for Comic Con
-Move out

What is probable:
-getting a car
-getting a better paying job to afford said car
-going to SD Comic Con, sans cosplay
-starting some freshman level requisites at the local college

What will most likely happen:
-sitting here gaming
-job hunting fruitlessly
-an occasional trip to San Diego county.
Darkhawk
if i had a life and wasn't so creepy, I'd tell you to visit minnesota, then i'd go with you to wisconsin, since i need to get out and about anyway.

but alas, i'm very creepy, and am in no place to be taking a trip anywhere. sorry.

Not necesarrily, they do suck to live in (Chihuahua), but can be really fun for a vacation, you know; offroading, biking (both motorcycles and normal bikes), and my personal favorite... SANDBOARDING. Seriously, it rocks, all you need is another person, a board, and a buggy.

Also some beers.
Artemicon
Summer? Its bloody winter here 8and i have to get up at a freezing 6 am every god damn day to go to my academy...CURSESSS!!

But since our summer rolls in almost inmediatelly after winter im already making plans, these include:
-doing nothing
- taking pictures of myself doing nothing, wich is in a way doing something
- spend the rest of summer pondering on the above paradox
- avoiding sunburn (fat chance i will though, ill sizzle up like every year)

Kitewing: Works on snow, ice, sand, water, salt, and pavement. Anywhere with good winds.

My "Summer" will consist of working M-F, randomly on the weekends, fucking off after work doing something most likely and very highly unproductive (Gaming drinking or watching movies)

However...I will have my car here soon...

Then back to my sweat shop to sweat off my weight and work some more.

all the more reason for sex, biggrin.gif
but otherwise, sweating that much at a job would drive me crazy. i HATE sweating. well, till it evaporates. that feels like a drug then. but otherwise i hate sweating!
Raven 2552
I prefer sex to working out, but it's kinda hard when your significant other is so far away. Damn deployments.
Blackfriday
Get drunk at home
Get drunk and play wow
Get drunk at bars
Get drunk and float down a river
Get drunk and pass out in a tent
Get drunk and float in a pool
Get drunk and fish
Get drunk and start looking into dialysis and liver transplants

Learning the new textbooks for my classes in the fall. Reading reading reading till I want to jab my eyeballs out. Why? Because I have to catch up on the Young Adult books. If I have to sit through one more Gossip Girl book cold sober I will cry.
Flamin' Galah!
going to my friends house every day and taking a trip across the country and back
Raven 2552
Ok, here's an update. I hate the desert even more. The damn sand gets everywhere. I have sand in places I didn't even know existed.
Legendaryratboy
that'll happen, if you go out on the street during March in Chihuahua, by the time you enter a building, your ears will be filled with so much sand you will literally be slightly deafer than before.
Raven 2552
Which is why I avoid Mexico. I've got some privates in my platoon who enjoy it though. I get to do some disciplinary duty as soon as they get back.
Legendaryratboy
That's just the north of Mexico, and not even all of the north at that. The south has beautiful jungles (and beaches).
Raven 2552
I used to go with my grandparents to Cancun every year. But actually, for pretty girls, Cali is the place to go. I wouldn't want to live there, but it's a nice play to go to take my mind off my troubles.
Darkhawk
you mean your package off its troubles? wink.gif

I've never been one for beaches. I'm pretty sure I'd hate the desert. Probably enjoy sitting in front of a computer writing a story compared to going to the beach. Less pretty women, but i'd be too distracted to talk to any of them anyway, so its all the same!

try being a girl

you CANT imagine where sand gets to when you are a girl

The only place in Mexico I have visited was Tenochtitlan, or what's left of it. Mexico City epitomizes that song from Weeds, "Little Boxes".
Legendaryratboy
That's because it's Mexico City... it's interesting to visit it for a couple of weeks, but one of the worst places in the world to live.

I don't think you visited tenochtitlan... mainly because Mexico City is built on top of it, maybe it was Teohtihuacan you visited?

No it was Tenochtitlan, which is why I said "or what's left of it" and then mentioned Mexico City. There's still parts of the city remaining, just not alot. To get a good picture of how the city originally appeared you have to see the computer models created for the series Engineering An Empire hosted by Peter Weller(Robocop).

It was hardly worth the trip to be honest, I had alot more fun visiting Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Or even the more local(don't have to leave the country) Chaco Canyon.

Woo Minnesota for the win! >.> I miss Minnesota ;.; Stupid east coast.

As far as summer is concerned, it never happens >.> I'll be quitting my current job(technically already did... just have to finish out the month), getting a new, closer one and do nothing but game inbetween.
