Okay, I figure it's damn time to put up a thread in which we discuss any and all new bands that we've discovered recently. Talk about them here.
Just ten minutes ago I found
Echo Slightly a down-tempo electronica band that's awesome if you just need a little background noise.

Just listened to Kuyss, a stoner band. Pretty awesome, I might say!
And also, for the thrash/hardcore fans under us, try T.C.F (Thrash Core Fanatics)!!

Hey, if you could post links that would be great, we could listen to the music and give commentary.

Mudcrutch isn't new, it's Tom Petty's original band. They reformed this year though, and their album came out a few months ago.
Scare EasyThe Wrong Thing To DoIf you're a fan of hair metal
Trixter reformed recently to go on tour also.

Techno and metal fans should look up
Blood and Batteries I'm not a big fan of either, but it's mixed so well that I enjoy it.

Consecration, if you like progressive metal, doom, sludge and/or post-rock.
They have two free releases for dowlnoad,
aux and
2nd April 2008 (live). There is a gap of a few years between the creation of the songs on the two releases, with a few changes in style so I highly recommend downloading them both.

I wish I could provide links to some of these, but I suppose a simple point towards the iTunes store, for those that have it, must suffice for now. If I can find links later, I will assuredly post them.
Nightmare of You is an excellent band that is both melodic and ironic at the same time, very listen-able, yet with enough quirks to keep the most discriminating musical gourmet sated.
Anathallo is also another excellent listen. Some words that first come to mind when listening to them are 'whimsical' and 'wow'.
Are they required to be new? Since I sort of seem to go back in time the older I get... in terms of listening.

A personal favorite. It's like nothing else in music.
