So I've spent the past few hours reflecting on stuff with a really well done and emotional piano solo (composed entirely for a single flash movie) playing on loop

I then found this that made me want to cry for entirely different reasons

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Final Fantasy 5 is anything more than terrable representation of a distinctly mediocre game series, but I really am very very fond of certain aspects of the game and the sound track happens to be one of these

It is at this point that I apologise for the offensively named topic, but I feel the brutal wrongness of rape somehow applies appropriately to what has been done there

I'm sure many of you feel the same way about songs that have been covered by other singers or bands, so, I've been officialy tested and am cirtified as having no musical intelligence whatsoever, lets share stories about those who's musical intelligence is somehow even lower and have used said negative intellect score to brutally violate the music you love

i havn't had much of a problem with things like that, since i'm not big on music.......

but something sorta like that, that terribly bugs me is this; when something is amazing in all forms of instrumental music, and sounds amazing, and then 45 seconds into the song come TERRIBLE vocals that you don't even understand. makes me pretty angry cause i love all the back round noise but the vocals are making em to shoot myself in the foot.

I'll say anything that has ever come out of Crazy Frog. It has just destroyed what ever good music it has tried to "re-make"... 'Nuff Said.

The remasters of Sodom...The Final Sign of Evil

And of course the rip-offs of "I was made for loving you" from KISS

Talk about sad but any remake of old, good rock that's been redone by the current popsluts and boybands in favour at the moment. I think I cried when I heard Britney Spears redid Joan Jett's I Love Rock and Roll.

Wasn't too happy with the Adict's redo of the Ramone's I Wanna Be Sedated. Offspring I didnt mind, but Adicts kinda screwed the pooch there.

I could probably go on and on about this. I love music - it's the one constant that's kept me sane during slightly traumatic life events and I absolutely, truly despair when someone decides that they can do it better than the original artist. I've got a list somewhere I think.

i mostly have issues with crazy frog on things like that... I hate Brittney spears anyhow and was beyond pissed that she redid that song.

(I also cant stand listening to those Kid's Bop comercials or whatever it is)
