I need to find a music that i could put into a slideshow on racism. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I recommend Def Leppard's Put Some Sugar On Me.

It's a catchy tune.

For more heroic scenes you can always use "We Are Free" by Enya (A little ironic) and for more dark, forbodding scenes you can always play a little Tupac. Some of his tunes were about racism. ...I think.

You could always find a little Erykah Badu as well. Its a little African in nature, but, the music is dandy.

I say you go for the blatantly inappropriate.

You open with a little Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head from B. J. Thomas and segue that into Chocolate Rain by Tay Zonday.

If you're not speaking about black-white antagonism specifically, I'll also put in a plug for The Bloodhound Gang's Yellow Fever. People often overlook racism to Asians because small Asian girls have the ability to turn invisible at will to better collect information for their collective Hive Mind.

Let's not forget Michael Jackson. I mean, you can love him or hate him and it's really hard to tell whether you're being racist about it or not.

In some instances, it can be made into a farce. Just look at what Mel Brooks did for prejudism against Jews.

If you want to fight racism, you can't do it seriously.

Racists already have the market on serious. Flippancy and irreverence is your best bet. They can't really argue because you have license to exaggerate and mock and for them to argue, they have to take your claims seriously.

Use humor. Lots of dry humor. Listen to some of Chris Rock or Richard Pryor.

Unless you're not black or a member of some minority.

Somebody who is officially part of the Majority comes across as ridiculously smug if you apply their styles.

Unless you're the guy who played in Offspring's Pretty Fly for a White Guy.

Another good example is White and Nerdy by Weird Al. I assume if you're pastey and have the entire Star Wars action figure collection: you can get away with trying to be gangster?

Getting a Thug Lyfe tattoo may be pushing it, though.

Well, rather than getting Thug Lyfe, try getting something a little more appropriate like: No Lyfe.

Play some Radiohead, that way everyone will forget about hating each other..and remmber how much they should hate Radiohead.
