We have all had bad ideas and we have paid for them in one way or another. Whether its learning that fighting bare foot in a street in Florida will burn you so badly it will basically give you foot cancer to realizing that dressing up in rented medieval armor with ten of your friends and storming your brothers birthday party while yelling "Anarchy!" is grounds for a night in jail. We have all had those painful/hilarious moments when we later ask our selves "What the hell was I thinking?!" I just wonder who has the best one. (I think my anarchy armor one is going to be hard to beat )

and just so you know, going on a canoing trip while a hurricane is blowing over is NOT a good idea, and you'll probably end up with hypothermia and a permanent phsycological fear of being cold and wet

....I cant believe I spent a night in jail for that...in armor! All ten of us! we had to remove the helmets but it was hilarious, well...when I got out it was hilarious. It was like ten knights some how ended up in a modern day jail! We did not even have weapons though so I think the cops were racists against Medieval knights! Not a good Idea by the way, never storm any place with ten people yelling anarchy. (Ok We may have flipped a table or two but ot was all in good fun!)

Skiing, when I was back home in New Zealand. I decided to ditch my gloves, my hat and one of the shirts I had on under my jacket after a couple of hours (they were all bugging the hell out of me, too many layers), went up the chair-lift to the top, and somewhere along the ride, a real monster of a blizzard decided to come down on us. Not quite so fun. Skiing back down? Even less fun.

I decided to strip for a friends birthday... then her mom came in.

To me, that sounds like a good plan got better.

But then, I frequently make inappropriate remarks in stacked groups. In a mixed group or a male majority, it'll never occur to me to be sexist but the minute I'm in the minority it's like I can't help myself.

Especially when the person in charge of my grade or employment is in that majority. It's not just women, either. I've turned Catholic apologist in the middle of conversations to annoy an atheistic majority. In retrospect, this is probably something I should seek to fix.

Let me set the context. When I walk to school, there's one downhill part that takes place on a path in a wooded forests, with two irrelevant gorges on either side of it. This happens to be right next to some rich old lady's place, and she owns what amounts to a small park. She also owns tiny dogs, peacocks and, to what I'm getting to, turkeys.

Now, so on Thursday morning I was walking down, when I see two turkeys. They're timid, easily frightened, and completely retarded, and one of them is right on my path. So, as a joke, I run at her as fast as I can, and she flaps away. I laugh for a second, then continue on my merry way.

Of course, as I go along, I become aware that the other one, is following me. I'm all like: What? And I keep walking down the path, and he keeps following me. I walk faster, and he trots faster. So then I turn around, and still backing down the path, I'm all like: "Hey, I don't want any trouble, ok? Just back off" (Yes. I talk to animals when I'm alone. And myself.) But he keeps following me, and at one point he actually jumped up and beat his wings against me. (to which I responded with a "Hey what the fuck, man!" Then the next time he puffs out his tail feathers, I just sprint down the rest of the path.

well this is before i knew better

i grabbed a baby goose, cus they were so cute( this is when i was like 2 years old) the mother startschasing me around and nipping at me until i drop the baby......

By the way gobbo, what possessed you to do the whole anarchy in armor thing? were you drunk, stoned higher than a kite, or just simply bored?

In Chihuahua City (where i used to live) there are all types of streets; mega freeways with 5 lanes on each side, tiny little alleys, hydraulic concrete highways, unpaved roads, and the important one to this story... a 4 lane avenue with rises and falls that would make San Fransisco proud. So while I'm visiting for spring break me and my friends get totally shitfaced on tequila (not illegal since the drinking age in Mexico is 18) and decide to see what skateboarding drunk would be like... and of course we had to be at the highest rise in the entire city... let's just say that I was the one unlucky enough to go down at the same moment a person was tossing a can from their window into their trash container outside... an in an outstanidng chance of one in a million, I caught it with my face.

That really depends though. Are you trying to live up to your avatar's message or not?

As for my own stupid things, does designing and building your own explosive devices count? I haven't destroyed anything or hurt anybody (yet).

Hell I would do it again but I dont think getting a real sentence to jail due to a repeat offense of soliciting anarchy in armor will look good on my job interviews. (But ya, I was boared out of my mind...three beers helped a bit as well)

Worst idea? ...When we hauled my 1984 Chevy Celebrity up a tree and attempted to make a fort out of it. It worked out pretty well until we had a windstorm come through and the car fell out of the tree. Nearly took out the powerlines. =) But at least I can tell people I cad a car-fort!

Once upon a time I was asked to do a Powerpoint Presentation on how Colour actually worked for a Uni Project - this actually counted towards my degree

I spent many hours labouring over it, frame by frame animation was acheived by setting slide transition to 0 seconds

I presented this thing to my coursemates and lecturer with an entirely staight face, as they sat despiratly trying not to laugh as these planes meant to be representing Photons suicide bombed things and swore at each other

Bad idea or not it might be the most awesome thing I've ever done

Another strange deviation from normal human thought...

At my graduation ceremony last friday, me and a friend of mine were talking about what the most hilarious thank you lines/speeches would be... and because of it I nearly had a stroke from holding my laughter in, so when it was my turn to go up and recieve my diploma I couldn't hold it in any longer, and actually laughed so hard that I tripped trying to walk off the 2 foot high platform, and fell face-first onto my british principal... who had told us multiple times about his personal space...

LOL! That reminds me of my grad night! We rigged speaker system so that when Ashly (This girl who just pissed every one off for four years straight) took her diploma, it played now your a man! I didnt regret it though....ever!

Hm... one strikes me as being the most stupid of them all, although there were several stupid even dangerous times in my life. When I was a little girl and swimming with my best friend and her sister, I'm not sure what provoked us to do this but, we started pulling off our swimsuits *.* and then to make matters worse our parents came out of the house to watch us swim. I don't think they figured it out and that was most likely all my stupid idea

i used to sleep walk, and a few weird things have happened. like waking up pissing, and falling over as i'm standing over the toilet. also for some reason taking off my shorts and underwear, then waking up somewhere random with only a shirt on....like outside in winter, >.>

One time me and a couple of my friends get board so we hook up a old drying machine to the back of someones truck and staart pulling it though a field. the thing starts bouncing and then hits something and flies like 6 or 7 feet up in to the air when it lands all the rivets and the motor come flying out of it we all had a good laugh at that.

Well, it wasn't my idea, but I did see someone tring to pull a bush outta the ground with a Neon once. They tied a rope around the bottom of the bush, and tied the other end to the Neon's bumper.......
I think you know what happened next: CRACK. Y'see, plastic isn't really all that strong
