My beloved Lar was up for a very important award in the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy community. I would say, second to the Hugo, it's the award most people in Canadian SF want to get. It specifically focuses on the work done in the previous year, and its main focus is literature, but there is an "artistic achievement" category. Lar won it 2 years ago. Last night, he won it again. Lar was especially touched by the fan support he got among the Manitoba fandom family - one of the greatest on the planet in my opinion, too.

So CONGRATULATIONS to you, my Beloved!! I'm the proudest/luckiest wife in the world!
