I just recently stumbled on this.

I hope you watch the whole thing.

Just take a look here.
Grym
I already saw that.
Kerrah
Seriously, this fad is not funny.
Raven 2552
I like that song. I've got some good childhood memories of that song from childhood. I wish everybody would just stop dissing it.
Evilgrin
The music needs to be changed to the one of Richard (Dave) singing it.

what it said!
SarlaccBits
hehe - I dunno, I found it amusing.

I was expecting one of those calm-scene-but-then-a-monster-pops-up-and-scares-you videos

i am very dissapointed
Verbose
There's really nothing scary about Rick Astley. It is a very large part of his appeal, after all.

Oh, sure, there are a couple of truly baffling shots in that clip - some truly baffling shots - but I'd hardly consider it scary. At least, certainly not in the tone we like to set around here.

We've got the dial locked on ominous.
Sayuri Kajira
huh.gif You found this "scary"? The fact that someone has allowed me to raise children that are not mine, is scary. Anything else is a cakewalk.
Verbose
I like to imagine that my being not only eligible but well-suited to being a professional teacher should elicit some sort of shiver down the average spine.
Sayuri Kajira
laugh.gif An idea just occurred to me: you teaching the children I raised. That is a scary thought.
Verbose
I really don't think we have too many more ways to escalate that situation.
Sayuri Kajira
I can... If they were OUR physical children.
Verbose
That was my implication, although all of my calculations suggest that the majority of any of my sprog would be vastly inferior compared to their progenitor.
Sayuri Kajira
Yes, but you're not taking into account the secondary creator of said sprogs. While they may be inferior because they are diluted versions of you: I imagine that the addition of qualities would balance that out.
Verbose
My suspicion is that any genetic children from our seed would probably be unremittingly normal and unfailingly goodhearted.

After all, every kid disappoints their parents somehow.
Sayuri Kajira
Well, maybe if we start acting normal and good-natured, our offspring will be just the way we want them to be. A reverse psychology on our part to instill our intended values onto the children.
Verbose
Do you think that claiming that we are the good-natured ones and it's everybody else who's strange would work?

I think it would take a lot less effort.
Sayuri Kajira
No, because naturally their friends would influence them over us. We have to prove it openly so there are no questions.
Verbose
I was working on the assumption that their friends would be idiots.

How hard would it be to taint them, realistically? One good conversation can convince a young child that the Microwave will burn off a man's penis if he leaves it on too long.
Sayuri Kajira
Then we have to get them while they're young.
Verbose
It won't have to be that young.

I usually seem very sincere and earnest. I even manage to project an undercurrent of controlled anxiety and concern when it'll prove helpful
JacobChulainn
If you want to be truly horrified you should listen to this.

Queen - I want to be free

THAT'S scary...and gross...
dreamchaser
It's "I Want to Break Free". (And if you find it either scary or gross I suggest you leave this forum quickly before we corrupt your delicate mind even further. happy.gif )

Metalcommand
Come on...Queen is one of the worst thing ever happened to this planet.....It's so )#(#)*$ overrated

And it's late, so I can misspell some things ohmy.gif
dreamchaser
I happen to enjoy Queen, but that's beside the point. You said "scary" and "gross", not overrated.
Metalcommand
Overrated is one of the so many points, but scary and gross are more relevant with this topic wink.gif
MrEasterband
Typos like the word "worst"? Queen has made some of the best songs ever made, like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We are the Champions and many more. And even though Freddie Mercury was gay he was one of the greatest performers ever, so who cares?

Not all their songs were good, but the good ones were GREAT!

And please take a look at the things we have to day... like Crazy Frog... Now THAT is the worst thing that ever happened to this planet.
Metalcommand
Well, Queen is totally the opposite of what I listen, so maybe that's why I dislike Queen. It stands for modern pop/radio hit songs, and I've heard those songs SO MANY TIMES that I'm getting sick of it....just give me Priest, Sabbath and Cream and I'm a happy man. By the way: I said it like a fact, but of course I forgot : MY OPINION IS. wink.gif
MrEasterband
Let me respond to you with this picture...

Just kidding... But still. Crazy Frog have made covers of Queen and many other good things... Destroying what ever music stands for.
Name me one good reason to like Crazy Frog... I bet that no one can do that.

And yeah, both Priest and Sabbath are both good, but still not good enough to call Queen the worst thing ever...

Well, I obviously exceggerated (how the )#) do you spell that??!!)
And I also hate, truly hate things like Crazy Frog.....never f*ck with the classics, never. But tadaa, modern day music. Just cover the shit out of classics, and you'll earn millions. Even if it's stinks like a buffalo's dump.
Verbose
You're right.

Any song written after 1134 is just a new-school try-hard.

Sarcasm is a bad habit laugh.gif
Verbose
I just find it dull beyond words to hear people complain about modern or popular music. Especially since at one time Mozart was both modern and popular.

It's all just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Denbe-kun
The Richard video was funny, but I'd say the scariest thing I've ever seen was a group a heavily muscled women running on a river side in Little Rock AR. Me and my friend seriously thought they were going to kill us
Silent Penumbra
Honestly this scares me the most.

In the sonic series, I have never seen a more scary character then Tails Doll, and Comick justifies it.

So, Queen is scary and gross because a gay Freddie Mercury crossdresses in the video? Or were you implying something else there? I can't assume you were talking about the music. Those words are hardly the descriptors one would choose. As a Judas Priest fan I figured you'd be a little more accepting of homosexuality.

Damn, this IS scary laugh.gif

Well, Salad Fingers is amusingly scary too...
Sayuri Kajira
Saladfingers isn't scary-- he's just misunderstood.

Salad fingers is amazing.

I like when the red water comes out
Sayuri Kajira
laugh.gif Salad Fingers makes me gigglesnort.
MrEasterband
I see Sallad Fingers as weird nightmares, they don't really scare you, they just freak you out some...
Like when he eats himself...
Sayuri Kajira
Yeah, but that's what made it worth seeing!! Its not scary-- just supposedly gross.
Warlord Gorgut
One night i was extremely bored and decided i would scare the hell out of my brother, so i sat him down in my chair, turned out the lights and made him watch every episode of Salad fingers... he had nightmares for two months i think. But he never stole things from me again. xD

When I saw the word "doll", I was reminded of this: Little Miss No Name.

Who the &%^# buys a doll that has eyes like this?!? Even the packaging is creepy.
My aunt collects dolls and has one of these in her spare bedroom. I refuse to sleep in that room unless she moves the doll to another room and closes the door. That doll's just not right.
Sayuri Kajira
laugh.gif That doll is so cute! Looks like a blonde Emily Strange.
Verbose
Is there some clever irony in Saladfingers that I'm missing?

I think I might have laughed a couple of times when I first saw them but it's trying so hard to be creepy that I can't really find it funny.
Sayuri Kajira
laugh.gif That's what makes it funny. Rewatch some of them and enjoy.
