Well I haven´t laught on this page. The best character is dead (completely) and I don´t see any mean of revivng for him (just in this moment). Personally I hope Richard is fooling all party and he will reappear with something like: "Missed me?" or "You have cried for me Cale?" or something like that ;-)

On the one hand I seem to recall Sohmer saying something about being annoyed with authors who refuse to kill off characters.

On the other hand Richard is such a popular character you would think killing him off would be fan-base suicide.

...I think he's gone for good, but that may only be because I tend to kill all the characters off in my stories myself.

There is a difference between killing off a character and doing it properly. This doesn't seem to be the latter considering Sohmer's skill. It more screams "Richard is too powerful, so needs to be 'removed' to give the group a proper challenge".

So quick question, does anyone else think there is a relation between the sisterhood that benny was in and the sisters that they are currently fighting? here's a couple of things to think about...first off benny was left with the blood rage at an early age. apparently before the chief formed an alliance with legara, the sisters and bloodrage were close allies. it's pure speculation but maybe the reason krunch left is because the sisters rejected benny. one last thing is a comment richard made in comic five when talking about benny "i didn't know the sisterhood rescinded on their no pyscho killers admission policy"....just a thought

It seems pretty obvious that Richard is not dead, since "banishing" is not the same thing as destroying, unless it is a permanent banishment (which it can be). I think they have just put Richard in a corner for a moment and we all know what happened the last time that happened.

My friends and I are betting on wither richard is really dead or not and the pot is up to $200 already.

I agree with Josy. "Banishment" simply refers to sending someone or something to a different plane of existance.

Therefore, I think he is in an Inferno or some other sort of NetherWorld filled with Demons. What is going to be interesting is that he may meet people who are even eviler than himself; If we're lucky, we might even meet a "Role Model" of his, some Wraith that he aspired to be one day as a Youngling, or maybe the possibly fictional Lord of Darkness himself, P'raps?
