You know, I'm not entirely sure, but it looks like Cale is tearing the head off of one of the golems with his bare hands in that first panel. You'd think he'd be doing the chop suey bit from the beginning of issue four, but I don't see a sword, or two, in his hands. In fact, it very much does look like he's ripping the golems head off. Sweeet.
As for Richard.....my suspicions grow stronger. It seems like not only does he have ADD, he's a bit bipolar as well. One moment he's the Crown King of Badass, the next he's riding around on and dangling a carrot in front of a massively built bull-creature who nigh single-handedly took down a giant just days ago.
In panel five, I get the feeling Krunch is smiling because of the battling, but the look in his eye makes me think he'd like nothing more than to play T-Ball with his redundant dad's head. But thats just what I think.
Also, Ray'd has blue eyes. I think it was shown before, but I only really noticed it on this page. Kewl.

You know, I was just feeling ashamed of myself for thinking while reading those last few panels, "Damn, but Krunch's bad ass brother is HAWT." He's just so...massively built. I can't help myself. I have a weakness for muscles in such lovely proportion. Blast his hide!!
*wibbles*
Darn you, Lar, for making that beast so shmexy! It's just not right!
And bless Richard's heart. As if he

Yea, he does have that 'Ready, fire, aim' mentality.
Ray'd has blue eyes, too, and that '90s surfer hair style...not that I'm saying he's smexy or anything, the horns and snout throw me off.

I hate to be the one to go there, but the "Carrot on a Stick" is actually a trinket you can get in WoW to make your mount go faster.

Wow, Richard looks teeny compared to Ray'd.

As if no one esle has ever used a carrot on a stick to make the mount go faster... That idea was invented LOOONG before even the original Warcraft was even thought about, even long before Blizard Entertainment was even founded.
It is just a common comical element at is used through out many cultural context. So no... Not a WoW reference... just a common comical element.

He may take that idea and adapt it to his little village up the coast.
This is just more proof that Richard will get what he wants in the end. He has been around too long to be ordered around by a bunch of cows.

Despite what people are saying, the carrot is a WoW reference. We already know that this comic has borrowed some elements from the game; it makes sense, then, that it could be done again. Keep in mind that any reference, unintentional or not, is still a reference. I think what people are trying to say is that the reference stretches well beyond WoW.
I'm rather curious as to what the Sisters are doing. Glowing ominously, awesome as it may look, won't win many wars. Given that Ray'd is so adamant in stopping them, it must be something bad. Either that or the Bloodrage have a mortal fear of artificial lighting.

Ow wow...number one rule...don't a soda and read this comic at the same time, cause you never know whether the next page you read is going to be serious or funny. I couldn't help but laugh at the carrot on a stick. Yes, there is a trinket in WoW for it, but the reference also goes to him being a bull. I can actually say myself, that I've lured a bull into a pen with a carrot on a stick, so i find this page quite funny.
As to what Ray'd is doing, I have a feeling that it's going to hurt the Sisters....and possibly Richard. But it's not like the "Bear-Lock" won't recover from it. He's had worse injuries. Am I not right in thinking that?

If it was underground, why would it need a SEP? If it did have one, it would, of course, be designed to look like a giant pink bunny rabbit with sparkles in its fur.

There was the whole 'Lil Richard getting squished by the not-little-at-all elemental' thing, and if he can survive that...is survive even the right word? Someone needs to think up some new words to describe the well-being of the animated dead.
Don't really see why you think Ray'd is going to 'hurt' Richard, (since he apparently rarely feels pain), unless you're talking about revenge for the carrot thing.
