I just found this in the
latest strip of LICD (Least I Could Do). Look in the last panel and see if you reconize somebody.
Has anyone else found any other crossovers like this? I'm just asking because I'm curious, and I'm looking more into it.

I just won a bet.
But in direct reference to the topic, there is the guest appearance of Urchin on
this page.

Damnit, I was gonna post on this as being "Richard has been sighted."
Curse my forum curtesy of looking for related topics before posting!

This also has extremely similiar story lines to LICD. This one's almost identical. Is there a sort of weekly meeting where they go to exchange ideas and pretzels? Or are they all part of some sort of guild?

Ummmm you do realize LICD and LFG are the same comic creators right? And that sohmer and them do the animations for Ctrl+Alt+Del right?
Oh yeah and uh....IRON MAN...hello! Every nerd boys dream =P

Ctrl+Alt+DelLeast I Could DoThat's uh, thats not much of a find there.
Applegeeks,
Shortpacked!, and
GodMode all did Iron Man comics. The lattermost fitting more closely with the 'People dressing up as Iron Man' theme.
And Kay, just because BFE did the CTRL+ALT+DEL animated series doesn't mean CAD is written by Sohmer.

CAD is most emphatically NOT written by Sohmer. That's Buckley through and through.
And as for Iron Man? The big difference was that ours was the funniest.... right?

I never implied it was written by Sohmer.
I did imply that Iron Man is every boy's wet dream however.

I learned about LFG through a banner on CAD. Be chill. If you can produce a more successful and popular comic, then by all means. Until then, have some appreciation for those who's efforts have paid off in the webcomic community.
Speaking of webcomics, I'm slightly surprised at Rayne's views on them.
Also, I'm incredibly disappointed in my own inability to notice all these crossovers earlier.

Ctrl+Alt+DelLeast I Could DoBrilliant find. Now I have more proof to add to the "Tim Buckley Steals Webcomics" files. This would not be the first webcomic "cross-over" in the world. But considering both the LFG and LICD webcomics are indeed, created by the same authors, it doesn't really matter. I do like it though lol.

Anything and everything. But I don't think we need to discuss his downfalls and atrocities here, do we? As far as I'm concerned, he is a blight on all gaming webcomics and him thinking he's better than every other author doesn't gain him any respect.

Mod Edit by Kayhynn: Flaming of any one, inculding other web comics etc is not allowed. Even if you have "proof" to back it up.

I have nothing truly against Buckley, because I've never met the man. However, talking smack about people I've never met is sorta a hobby of mine.
I gon' make him my BEEYATCH!
See? It's fun and easy

Oh, and you can't really tell, but there are some familiar severed heads in that pile near the end of the "Slaughter the World" video too

I know they're there, and that's all that matters to me >:)

Rip didn't say anything besides 'Not going there.' Holding grudges is bad for your health, Kay.
Now I have to go watch SYW again....
Edit: XD That is awesome, I definitely didn't notice that at all before. I should have though, village peons don't usually look that suave.

Being a late reader for this topic I was surprised no-one picked up on this. Then again it was only a minor character on LICD.
http://www.leasticoulddo.com/comic/20080123http://lfgcomic.com/page/109The Iron-Man incident was a rather pointless observation
Tim Buckly, although not as good as Lars and Sohmer, is a genius non-the-less. Take your mis-guided opinions elsewhere
Oh, and no I'm not just sucking up to lars and sohmer, I do actually prefer their work

I don't think thats an actual crossover. That looks more like the 'recurring character trait' phenome; you know, where the artists style reflects on itself. Side characters tend to look alike after a while, wheras the really creative stuff is saved for the main ones.

Looky what I found!

It's a bit blurry in this pic, but watch Slaughter Your World and you'll see him. Even though he's facing away from us, the Spike of hair is still distinctive enough!

LOL, at least you're honest.
As for the crossovers, since I'm going through LICD from beginning to present and I've pretty much memorized LFG, finding crossovers (and subsequently making fun of them in the motivator thread) is pretty easy.
