A "blue" on WoW forums are GMs and Devs. Which prolly means the Devs were cracking a joke right back. Sohmer and them have done stuff for WoW affiliated sites as well as one of the WoW guides if I remember correctly.

Well the comic was based a good bit off of WoW. I do agree its not a WoW comic but it derives much from it.
