I've been reading LFG for a long time now, I think shortly after it started (from the PvP realms).

Anyways, the twice a week update, I thoroughly look forward too, but recently (and I'm sure it's just me) the breaking the fourth wall seems to be rampant.

Yes, I finally registered an account here and it's going to be a complaint... so I'll do it in a "I'm still a fanboy" way.

I really look forward to the story, the fourth wall strips don't progress it, which means the story is delayed.

I'm actually curious just to see if anyone else is dissappointed. I still love the strip, just seems a bit much with these tangents now.

If you ask me, and Ithink you did, the breaking the 4th wass has always been there from the first page. IT's all references to real life to mark in some way the fact that this is suposed to be a fictional world. I'm not dissapointed by it and actually expect it. The story will progress along but what keeps us here is the humour of it all as much as the story. Both move forwards at their own pace.

I think this would be boring if it didn't reference to other works of fiction or real life.

And the story does move along - Richard has started attacking the sisters.

Roll for initiative.

The only complaints I have is I wants more videos and more pages faster! but I know its alot to do and I understand why their isnt.(after all it takes time for genius like this )

That's cool and all, but I tend to avoid him regardless, so excuse my belatedness.

Who cares if Richard broke the fourth wall? He Dick Rolled The Sisters!

4th wall hasn't really been an issue for us... We are meant to recognize this as an MMORPG world, just not a specific one. Even though MOST of the characters act as if it were a "real" world, Richard has always made the wall between "users" and "characters" somewhat pliable. I really DON'T want to see a strip in this comic showing a user at their computer ( I look forward to DING! for that kind of strip)

Also, I gather that Sohmer sometimes like to read when he has time. Given that about 1/2 about his own posts are about what he currently reading (sometimes winthin minutes of finishing a good read.) So I look forward to the good references that he makes. Point of fact... I am now reading Terry Goodkind because of this strip.

I've always thought of it being more Richard being a psychopathic freak that can see into alternate dimensions and constantly makes comments about them randomly
