But Richard doesn't sleep... Therefore he could never dream... Therefore Richard and Freddy would never meet (meat) each other... Therefore they could never set up a contest...

Mostlikely Richard would but Cale to sleep and wait for Freddy to try and kill him, then Richard some how appears in Cales dream to fight Freddy and claim the titel of Dream Master. (And of course Benny would ask "Isn't anyone going to ask how Richard appeared in Cales dream?")

Well he does sleep but only AFTER he uses a lot of his power...Like when he set the sail on fire and went to sleep, and encased a pirates head in a block of ice all teh while prob dreaming of ponies!

It was not a real sleep... it was just a mild coma. No dreams.

And to the immediate above post: You seem pretty sure of yourself there. Richard probably dreams of decimating all life, then somehow reviving it again, then decimating most life so the rest of life fears him above all else, then gets bored with that and just dreams about playing with the Felbunny in the only place he can without compromising his fearsomeness.

Could you have dreams while being knocked unconscious?

I don't see why not.

I'm pretty sure Richard does sleep. Even if you don't count the times that he was unconcious, you can check out the first panel of this page. Either Richard is napping or Lar caught him in mid-blink.

Like I said before, I think thats the only time I've ever seen Richard with his eyes completely closed. Weird.

Where would they meet? At his Moon Base?

They can have an epic battle in Hitler's library.

But if it was Freddy vs. Alucard, that wouldn't have anything to do with LFG.
