I hate Runescape as much as the next man. It has crap graphics, grindtastic gameplay, and its population has the average IQ of a Mentally Deficient Monkey. However, I think that it has the best Quests out of most MMOs... Maybe cause the quests have... I dunno... an actual plot. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
as it as been said, the starting areas suck. once you get into the 2nd area, they kinda start to get better, and by the 3rd area you should be able to start having fun

right around level 20 is when i started having fun, and it just got more so the higher i get

quests in WoW have a storyline too. in chains. however, those chains are only later on. for the most part, WoW quests are to give substance to what is otherwise a grind. later in the game there's some great story style questlines.
but i can see your point.
yeah, what he said

Well, let's just say I don't want PvE guilds falling apart on PvE servers dur to losing people to PvP servers.
I guess I'm just not leet enough for WoW if I despise PvP, or what?
Seriously, I much rather play with hardcore nerds than with ganking e-peen kiddies.
i cant stand PvP either. just think about this on the positive side, if you are on an overpopluated PVE server (as i am) the mass exodus of the 70s leaving means the population will go down

Trust me the starter q are BAD

, as in really shot through the knees bad

.
BUT if you manage to make it as far as the Deadmines you will love the game
Lol, its just a useful little schematic, its hardly as if "AS SOON AS THESE OPEN WE WILL ALL DIE!"
what rob said
and that last line made me giggle so much
