I just had a week off lol.

I know a burn out when it's coming, and it's not. I just personally find naxx, sath and maly pretty boreing encounters at this point. We were one of our servers first guilds to take down naxx 25, it was only a few weeks after WoTLK release (think it release the 14th of Nov, we killed Kel 25 on the 14th of Dec), so we've pretty much been farming it since then tbh.

I got burned out healing over 2 years ago, which is why I go pew pew facemelt now. Sometimes I get the heal bug but that's what horde sundays are for on my resto shammy.

So.... My moonin is now up to 4.6 k dps.... but i still cant kill hunters and rogues or really anything in blues and greens...

If i did not have a resto shaman i dont think i would pvp at al

In my local Private server(which used to be blizzlike high rates, now it had to be erased to put Wotlk and it's now blizzlike normal rates) i use mainly a Rogue or a Holy Pally.

i never been on a private sever... are those free?

they are free but at the cost of your soul...or better said, of playing in a server with not the same quality as retail, lag more often, random disconnections, and the chance of a server reset, erasing all the characters in the server(which happened to me)...i lost my rogue, my holy paladin and an arms warrior because of this.

in other words not worth it..

Amazing stuff as always from Blizzard, love the tensions now that everything at the Wrath Gate has concluded; also a wise choice in voice actors, particularly for Brann; God I hate his in-game voice with avengeance. Bae, Eu & co; prepare to get stuck in. I expect 5 bosses down by tomorrow night .

Hrm... I wonder if our officers have planned to jump in there today or just keep to our regular 25man raid schedule.

Probably the later I would suspect, but I'm sure 10mans will be running a plenty!

We're in discussions ourselves, but probably do the latter as well, then hit a little bit of Ulduar, wipe a few dozen times on the Leviathan, and call it a night.

I'm still genuinely shocked that blizzard did something correctly by nerfing something by a small amount like spirit based mana regeneration... oh wait..

God forbid " baby steps" should ever be taken, min/max all the way baby!

Honestly, I LIKE the Spirit Based Mana Regen, I have yet to see my Moonkin drop below 50% mana when doing basic rotations, or even in PVP... Of course, thanks to not having any Int/Spell Damage because I had to sacrifice it for Spirit, my Moonkin hits like a pillow. If I went resto (Which I ALWAYS have to in raids) I am always the top healer for some reason. Spell Haste + Spirit = Healing Touch 1 sec Cast .

I will be so happy when Dual-Specs come out, no more fucking 200g Talent Respecs that require Moonglade trips, only to be useless once the 10-30 min run is done...

On my main, my Hunter dual spec will be useless, so I don't see me buying it, though on my Druid... well, that depends. He's currenly Balance, but will be switching to Resto at 80. I dislike the changes to Mana Regenration, but now it's changed my plans for gemming on my Druid as Spirit gems on my server sold for rougly 20g each, easy gemming.

Now I'm going to gem Spell Power / Int, putting up to to around 80g a gem, though first he has to get to 80, and then he has to get some decent gear, I just don't see Heroics & Emblem gear being good enough for Ulduar... Oh well, Yogg Saron looks like it'll be a fun fight, looking at his abiliies.

Certainly be different, that's for sure.

25 Mill hp, and spawns adds that have 2 mill hp (a melee dps add, a bomb add, and a healing add that heals him if it reaches him... think Gluuth Zombies on crack >.<)

But I think Boss 5 is going to terrify me more.

But guess who will be doing 10/25Man Naxx for the next few weeks and not Ulduar....

Because Old GM gkicked everyone that was good then left the guild and now we are rebuilding it, but over half our 80's are in greens and blues....

It's not that bad. 3 weeks ago, was in a guild. GM left server, gave me reigns, I didn't want it (the rest of the guildies were horribly immature). I offered some advice, and left, taking one person (my RL friend) with me.

We got my other friend to start playing again, and we bought our old guild from someone for 200 gold. So just the three of us, started recruiting. In 3 weeks, we're clearing all 25 man content, have 52 members, (45 of which are level 80), and we're set to do Ulduar today.

3 weeks. It was insane. And we're 17th on the server, 7th on Alliance.

Yes, come Ulduar, I think we're going to be 2nd or 3rd. Very smart and canny players.

We've been undergeared and getting achievements undermanned too 1 drake OS with 19 people, that was fun.

So don't give up Hope Kimi... but do start a character on my server and we'll power level you to 80... Steamwheedle <.<

By that, I believe it means it's not live yet....of course, the devs might have copied and pasted from the old patch notes too....but I have a feeling Uldaar isn't available. We'll find out tonigth eh?

I believe that they've just copied it, as Amiercan servers are still down for Maintenance, at least most are & they have been since 1 AM PST. Which to me says they're applying the patch. If they wanted testing they'd put it back on the PTRs, though most are finding it a little odd that PTR's are indeed still up.

Either way, I won't be hitting Ulduar till Saturday, so it doesn't really affect me outside of class changes currently.

I think the patch is applying with everything but Uldaar in it. There were some...issues....with it before...and I'm not sure if they got fixed or not

Hmm, perhaps. I've been paying more attention to the encounter testing though as opposed to ulduar as a whole, mostly 25 mans, why I don't know when I only raid 10 man Guild wise... Oh well.

Either way, Here's hoping the Hard Mode's are indeed, hard, and not downed within a week by the Nihilum / whatever they're called Guild hybrid, bunch of sad acts...

Regardless, I already know exactly which pieces of gear I want from Ulduar. I'm going to pretty much be instant casting GHeals and FHeals, and will end up with about 19/20K Health with fort buff, and 22-24K mana unbuffed, with roughly a 1700 spellpower base WITHOUT Enchants/Gems/Spirit/Talents.

But that's a long ways away.....

And fuck new achievements. I am so pissed that I haven't been able to get as many as I should have already, that these new ones (Which are stupid fyi...Be the last person alive on a boss and kill him????) just seem ridic.

Wooh! It's up! And the instances are all ok... new voa boss is tricky grr... and then the instance crashes. And you can't use that character anymore.

And you use another character, in another instance... till that fails... well yes folks, I'm out of level 80 characters.

Well, EU realms are down till 15:00 Paris time, which means 14:00 for me with nothing to actually do... fun stuff, guess the Patch is a bitch.

I notice that 'Crimson' on the 'Greymane' server already have cleared more than half of Ulduar in just over 4 hours. They only have Mimiron, General Vezax, Alagon the Observer & Yogg-Saron left to kill. Kind of makes you wonder who stays up till 5AM raiding when they have a job the next day... oh well...

I can still see 'Ensidia' doing the world first clear & claiming that 'it was way too easy, again' like they always do for new content, bunch of sad Scandanavians...

US realms are back down again this morning. Looking to be that way for a few more hours. Hopefully when I get home from work this afternoon I can play some. I got logged in for a couple hours last night and spend most of it mod fixing and setting up dual talents and my swapin bars in bartender4.

Yes, he drops Tier 8 (and valor badges, blegh) on regular mode.

Bit of a fight to learn, but once it's learned, it's easy.

Adds one corner, him in the other. Kill him. If an add starts getting big (every 40 seconds or so) kill it immediatly (if it gets to 10 stacks it blows up and wipes the raid). Go back to killing him. Stay 10 yards apart. Heal through lightning nova.

And of course he did what you'd expect... dropped warlock and rogue gear (the classes we didn't have.)

No alliance won WG and my guild was already there when I logged in (well 10mans). We'll probably add it to our raiding schedule for 25's come Thursday to be sure. I dont get all crazy about being the first ones into a new place, I know I'll see it soon enough

Decided at some point last night that sitting at my PC waiting for a server (any server) to come up was jsut bleh. So we went out and got burgers brought em home and watched a bad movie.

I tried taking a my severely undergeared members to 25 man naxx last night, you know, to gear them....

Oh man....

So....First off, the tank decided mid way that he was going to DPS and made someone else tank without telling me....

Then he tried to run my raid...(I was raid leader).....Basically, due to him and the ninja looter guy (Who tried rolling on every pally piece as though I was an idiot), my raid failed. They would not shut the fuck up. And it caused chaos on vent.

Then they pulled second boss of arachnid when me AND the GM weren't ready, and their excuse? "Only one person wasn't ready and he was DPS so we pulled."

Ok..? I'm the fucking raid leader. I make the ready checks, and I say when to pull, not you. Fucking knock it off.

Then of course as soon as their stupid asses pulled, Naxx went down. And stayed down.....

So hopefully Friday I can take my people back in there.

There's way more to the above story, but no time to write it out while at work.

Wow, I've never been in a raid that bad. Frankly, if someone started doing that in a raid, I would kick them from it. I'd give a warning, and it would be something along the lines of "Knock the crap off or you're out of the raid." and if they continued they'd be out.

My old gm would have a lot of chatter and disorganized stuff going on and people not listening and the MT was a diva so there were issues with getting him to follow instructions, and loot was all over the place.

When I led, I just made it very clear we're pulling fast, I don't care who's tanking on trash as long as dps isn't getting killed, and loot distribution would be by number of items you won and officer logic (if you're a dps pally you're not rolling on tank gear, and if you won something already, you're not winning against someone who hasn't).

Also, anyone whispering me to "just ninja the loot to me" automatically would forfeit their next 2 rolls.

Best run ever.

Suffice to say, people tended to lean on me for being unbiased and fair, and my runs were really very efficient (3 hour heroic nax clear, 2 hour 38 for our Undying man clear.)

Someone is an ass like that, kick em. You can always pug if needed, and the rest of your members are on your side and will respect you for it.

Ok, well vault 10 was down, but vault 25 was up.

Decided to hit up Ulduar 10, got in fine, got Flame Levithan to 20%, we were doing fine, I had just launched my bear into the boss and got targeted to be chased. I started running and BAM! Lagsville.

Been sitting for like 20minutes now :/

BTW do not go by sites on how to do bosses atm... wowhead and wowwiki both said to leave towers up on leviathan to do easy mode... This is not true. It is hard as hell mode..

I am sick of raid leading... so i usually dont do it... but i do get assist and i have no problem kicking people who are being loot whores or pains in the ass for the raid leader...

ONE person should explain the fight not 12 and that is the raid leader or whoever the raid leader designates.

Remember people its only going to get harder... i went into ulduar... the first fight is a cake walk the rest are hard as hell... anyone after the first boss is harder then maly... much much much harder.

Well, we're hitting Ulduar 10 on Saturday with the Guild, and I've been invited by Iris (some of the best players on the servers too lazy to join Hardcore guilds, hence they go & add PuG members who they think are great) to 25 man Ulduar on the Sunday, though if Ulduar goes badly we'll go back & clear 25 man Naxx again, which is good as I need a few more Emblems so I can make an easy 2k gold.

Not much to be said for WoW here, hough that Raid sounds reminescent of a 10 man Naxx PuG I joined on Tuesday =\. I joined with 1 boss down & was top DPS instantly with a weak 2.7k due to slacking >.< Cleared Spider Wing & got Noth down before I'd had enough as people couldn't stop from ballsing up on Heigan... "I know the strat! my ass, you all stand on the platform & die to the Plague or just stand there tanking him in the same spot...

You ever been on heigen without someone who can remove diseases?? Yeah that is damn near impossible im gonna go as far as saying it is impossible...

So that guy who tried to run my raid, OH MAN.

I log onto WoW last night, right? I barely make it through the loading screen, and I already have a party invite. So I accept. Little did I realize it was to a 4 man raid....

The guy who was trying to run my raid Tuesday, was the raid leader, and asked me "You ready to do 10man Naxx?" WTF? Who made you raid leader? No one. Who makes the raids? I do. (Well Skrapak does too, and he was also in the raid, as well as my GM.) My response, I'm not raiding tonight. Bye. (Leave party).

Then Skrapak tries to ask me "So tomorrows 10 mans, I say we make our 2 Ulduar runs and take people." My response. "No, our guild isn't geared for it." His "The people signed up for it are." Mine "And the rest aren't. We have an obligation to help gear our raiders, not sit back and get more geared then them as it is."

Seriously. Stop being fucking douchebags. I want to raid Ulduar and get the gear so effing bad, but I have guildies I need to get close to there too. No time for me to be selfish.

And I swear if that guy tries to take over as raid leader when he isn't, one more fucking time, I am going to go ballistic on someone.

Pug runs are not hard to find... and people who have been running others through naxx are probably pretty tired of it... and there are many days in the week to try...

Trust me ulduar is a 1 day thing.. u kill the first boss maybe a second and then wipe a shit ton... Then the next day back in NAXX to get some easy wins

Yah... first boss cake, second boss... ok not so cake. And then the instance crashes and you get kicked out and badness and try something else for a while.

To me, as a raid leader, it's my job to gear my guildies. After all, I was given raid leader for a reason, no? Yes, I feel they can do things like heroics/OS to get gear (10/25 man OS PuGs are cake really....) But as far as Naxx goes, that's on me to get them in there. A guild is just that, a guild. What use is it for me to say "Go pug and get gear then you can raid with us?" None, because now we are a useless guild. And going into Ulduar, my best people aren't always on, and I love Naxx, and so does my guild. We're willing to run a lot just to gear our peeps. But it's my job as raid leader to over see it.
