I could always cheat and go Enhance/Elemental for maximum spell power (I've got it to about 3100, with new gear probably 3300 or so), but that's cheating and we all know it.

Strat/Scholo are actually easy to solo. I did at 70 before WOTLK came out. Takes a bit longer but, in Strat you just need to kill the bosses/clear the ziggurats. Just by pass the mobs. Getting the classic dungeonmaster was easy but frustrating. I've done every single Classic Raid/Dungeon and only ZF and WC counted and I hate those places so I never do them and I had literally the day before ran SFK XD. I was mad. I also did every single heroic, yet, none of those counted. I never finished SSC/TK/BT/MH/SWP even though I've been to all of them. They won't be fun trying to get groups for.

As far as the fishes go, my friend was in IF for 3 hours prior to me showing up. He was the reason I went. 3 casts after I got there, I fished Old Ironjaw up. My friend was pissed. He spent another 7-9 hours in there and never got it. With Old Crafty, my fellow priest friend and I were fishing in Org. (He was there because I made him fish with me.) 2 hours into it, he caught Old Crafty. I spent another 5 hours trying to get him before I did. Karma's a bitch huh lol...

Actually I ran AQ40 with a pug last week. They just screamed in the general channels and got 35 people within like 30min. Back in the day we ran AQ40 to death but we never did kill Cthun, (guild at the time got stuck at huhuran - lack of NR gear ftl). I did get another bug mount tho heh, never did get the blue one lol.

And since my ZG and AQ20 kills didn't count, I grabbed 2 friends and we 3 manned both of those. So weird running a place I smashed my face against the wall in with 20 other people and pwning the crap outta it with 3.

Heck, I can remeber when Strat and UBS where both 15man instance. ... wait...I think they may have been 20 man actually. I ran the rookery I can't count how many times trying to get my Dungeon set shoulders back in the day lol OH! and paying people to open UBRS spire cause the key was soooo hard to get. I payed well too, 2 to 5g to open URBS for me heh.

I have the green and yellow one. Almost got blue, and lost the roll on red. Maybe I'll attempt to solo the front mobs XD.

I really really want to know if the patch goes through today (there was another tuesday where blizzard "made changes" but it wasn't really the patch. I'd get a free respec, and I'd like to see how the new balances work out! So excited to get home and play...

Dual spec should prove to be intersting. Especially with the amount of epic gear open to everyone at this point. 0_o

I will easily be toting around a healer set and my usual face melting set in short order I suspect. Should lax up group needs for 5mans, 10mans and raiding.

Tho, it may come at a cost, I could see it adversly affecting people in a guild where if your not a popular pick or part of the "cool kids" group, ya know?. I worry some may find themselves sitting out more if someone who's more influental with the raid leaders can now do their job too. 0_o

I know this may seem like a bad thing, but there are just those people who are jerks for raiding... for instance... You have a 10 man group piling through an instance, and you have to take that extra healer because you need em, and they're constantly going on AFK's, brb's, making dumb mistakes on bosses, not admitting ot them and not learning so they do it Over and Over, and then you've taken 3 hours to do two bosses and that jerk is the reason... those people can be shot in the face, and if the dual patch allows us to exclude them from raiding by putting applicable people in their place, I'm all the happier.

It'll also allow dual spec healers and dps to multi-task, allow that off tank to be useful in situations he's not needed, and generally help the well being of most parties.

I just worry that people will be rolling on double the gear...

I'm fine with it removing sucky players from around me, technically they shouldn't be raiding anyway. I see the other problem tho, crappier players getting spots over decent players because they're closer friend wise than someone else.

But yes people wanting double gear will be more prevalient. Tho, if you have someone who is spec swaping every other week, technically they should be getting a bit more outta the raids IMO. With as much gear pouring outta the instances, I don't see it as to much of a problem really. Between Naxx, Vault, OS and Maly there's alot of gear to be had within a week.

Almost too much really. I liked how before you hit 70, and had to run Kara a while, then move up to the Eye and the Vaash. Now everything is pretty much equal (you may need a little to boost you for 25 mans, but otherwise everything's readily available). There's nothing to strive to be geared for!

Except uber gearing so you can go back and do all the heroic achievements perhaps... any patch notes for today to ooh and drool over?

I went to both 25Man Naxx/OS in 2 80 epics only.

I came out 3rd in healing both times. Everyone else was better geared then me o.o

I went to my first Naxx run in all 70 purples and 3 quest/instance reward blues (which I'm still wearing). My mana regen was absolute garbage and my hit was suffering horribly. But considering in that 2+ week time span right before the holidays (when we were raiding) I got 5 80 epics from the 25mans, the gear output is pretty rediculous. I'm still wearing some BT/T6 gear though.

I hit exualted with Wrymrest and will go buy the cloth boots tonight and if I have enough badges (I'm close) may buy the shoulder token and replace my last piece of T6 as well. We start raiding again on Thurs so upgrades inc 0_o

My mana regen is still kinda eh especially when I'm pushing max DPS (patchwerks), but if I hold my pet and disperse just right I get back to full in a heartbeat. And DK's, just want to state, they rock my shadow priesty socks. I was pushing 2300 DPS last night in a H:ugk, and shockingly my Devouring Plauge was making up 25% of my total DPS (go disease damage increase 0_-)

I was going to wait until monday to show you my updated priest but, I'll do it now.

8k Rep with Sons of Kodir I'm so excited! I'm only 13k away from another exalted tally (And epic shoulder enchants when ever I want em!)

Btw, finishing up ice crown quests are such a pain... getting a group (hell, I only either need a healer or a tank, and I can do em) has been a royal pain!

I'm working on rep grinding (old world atm) and getting loremaster. Kinda killing two birds with one stone. Sucks sorta, since quill was created at release and at that time if you did a quest that was grey you got no rep for it... at all. At least now even if it's for another primary faction your exaulted with and grey to rep will roll over to one your not exualted with. Sadly I did alot of old world quests when lvl 60 got boreing just to do them, so I have pretty much just kalimdor at this point. Rep grinding has been painful to say the least.

I still have IceCrown left to do myself, but me and a druid friend were doing some of his 5mans with just the two of us. We just burned the shit down, he almost dies and my VE kinda helps heh.

Yah, I kind of figured I'd attempt them solo cuz it was frustrating getting a group to run them with me... it didn't really pan out very well.

Did you have any problem with the Argent dawn quest line out there? It just sort of... stops after you get the Pinnacle up and running... I sort of figured it would be meeting the Ebon Blade and pair off along with their lines, but they don't appear to.

I kinda jumped around in IceCrown so I didnt get the flow of the area at all.

I did all the Argent stand stuff, and that one Ebon Blade quest way to the north, then went and did all of Storm Peaks. I'm just now back in IC and wrapped up the EB stuff to the NW, and started knocking out some of the Airship stuff.

Other than that I've really done very little for that zone.

It's actually a very fun zone, for the fact that as you complete various areas, they slowly phase you into a completely different style of area (like the argent dawn sequence that clears out the baddies and puts a tower up, and there's some fun advancement.)

There's also some great story lines, and it really starts to develop some of the personalities and attitudes (I love what happens between the Argent Dawn/Arthas/Ebon Blade. If you have seen it, you're missing out.)

I'm still kinda upset with bliz, over the years I've destroyed numerous pets, tabards, gear sets and rare stuff. I still have alot tho, but my bank space keeps dwindeling . After I got hacked, 99% of my stuff was returned thankfully, but I think a pet or two never made it back.

I always wished blizzard would implement a wardrobe I remeber when they introduced keyrings and i got excited that maybe my prayers had been heard and a wardrobe would appear at some point....but it never happened.

Lets see, the gear contents of quills bank are: Full T2 + benediction and other random lvl 60 items of importance, most of the T6 set, santa set, fire festival set and full bag of tabards. Gear contents of quills bags: my spellpower/hit set, my spellpower/crit set, and my pirate garb (=awesomeness)




Yarg! This is my old pirate set (pic taken at a BWL run at 60), it's been updated some. As in I now run around with 2 mugs, my pants are a bit cooler looking and the priest T4 shoulders make a great admiral mantle. I think I changed my shirt too. Running around with the "bitches dance noi!" whistle is fun like this too....while drunk.

Did anyone else get the Hyperion set? You look all futuristic and in plate! Rawr! The stats were terrible, but I hunted the Auctionhouse for weeks getting a full set!

I played retail since the second day it was out, but them my internet went screwy and I was without it for over 6 months. I played again until I had a level 43 druid...at which point I got bored with the class and started experimenting with pretty much all of them. None could hold my attention very far past level 20 though, so I stopped for awhile.

When I went back, I tried RP and found nearly every single realm all but void of RP, several people told me they were only there to get away from PvP because all the Normal realms were too full and laggy, so they came to the RP ones. This...made me stop again. I'm now on a private RP server so sorry, I can't quest with any of you...not that my multitude of level 20s and 12s would prove very interesting or usefull...though my level 30 pyschotic gnome mage might be interesting...if she were on a RP realm and not a PvP realm...hmm...now I'm rambling...4 in the morning does this to me.

I got some more gear last night, and hopefully more tonight too.

I finally got a one hand update (the mace that drops off Grobulus as it were.) It's not exactly what I was looking for for my elemental gear, but as they keep sticking me as resto shaman, whatever... although it's a very slight decrease to crit and decent upgrade to haste and spell power so I'd call that an upgrade to elemental.

In other news, we attempted Malygos yesterday. What a flop... my GM was in the party but didn't take control, rather his second in command did. This guy's a complete prick, gives decent but degrading instructions, and just bad mouths the raid (everyone but himself) the entire time. We wipe about 4-5 times, and he first complains about people, and then logs. I've been in successful and unsuccessful raids, and been ok with both, but whenever I run with this guy in charge... everyone just walks away frustrated regardless.

Ugh, long rant, but I don't feel like QQ'ing, so I'll let it be.

Finally we're back to raiding. We picked back up on it last Thursday, but then lacked healers Sat and tanks on Sun.

We lacked pretty much the same thing on Monady, but still took down patchwerks, our raid leader can be such a dooch sometimes. I really think he just didn't feel like dealing with the short-comings over the weekend and instead wanted to stick it to us for bitching about not raiding....by having us wipe for an hour on patchwerks (2 tanks 5 heals = wtf).

Finally we (in the healer channel) called him out on the fact he was purposly setting us up to fail and then again on vent that a 3rd tank and we'd be fine. Finally he went and respec'd his DK, we had our ele shaman respec heals as he's got decent healing gear and guess what. We one shot patchwerks. Raid leader is a douch Hell I told him all weekend I'd respec for disc healy build so I'd be a single target badass (spell power + crit = wtf disc healer). GAH!!!

Tho, I did get enough badges to buy my 7.5 shoulders and I got some new shoe's off of patchwerks. Only 3 more blues and 1 70 item and I'll be in full 80 purples soon!

We did patchwerk and failed miserably. We pugged 4 of our 5 healers, I blame that...

We had the three tanks, but the leader didn't give healing assignments (also a terrible no no...)

So yah, it was epic failsauce. Especially cuz we had like 20 dc's getting from the entrance to Patchwerk... I hate my guild sometimes. There are those people that just DC all the time... and then everyone's supposed to release, but the main tank never does cuz he's a dooche... raaar.

Naxx has caused a lot of lagg issues =(

Really? Well, a few people I'd let off the hook, but one of our healers (a guild healer) seems to DC just when we're at a point where things go badly. I don't mind if people have to go, or have things to do, but they should say so... I'm really ticked when a vital member of the raid plug pulls out of annoyance. If that's your attitude, find another guild IMO. My guild needs to recruit more healers anyway. And I'm working on leveling one of my friends (well, I have a tank in the works too so we're both leveling up together. Discipline Priest and Prot Warrior are the best combination for leveling up I think! We get a quest, I stand in the center and grab a few things, and he just pulls everything to me (and I spin ranging anything I can). When we have enough, he just aoe's them down! We kill about 5-10 mobs at a time, quests take two pulls, it's awesome.

Our server has alot of lag issues Our 25man's take forever becuase of it. Gluth, had to fight him twice, Wintergrasp started so... yea

Then got to Thadius...No idea, but a 3 -5sec cast lag makes you die.

We often have to call raids due to the horrid lag. Yay for hellscream being full ontop of it all. 45min queue's if you log in at peak hours

I'll never change servers tho, been on hellscream since release in what? 04? It's my home

So, I ran 10 Man Naxx/Vault/OS Saturday with the guild. Downed all but Naxx. We did Arachnid and Military quarter, finished after downing Noth. Well, the next day, I got asked to 25Man Naxx by this guild called Synergy, naturally, I knew 1 or 2 people in that guild, so I went. (I was saved to 25 Man Vault/OS by now) We raped it. Until we got to 4H. (My guild didn't bother telling me to leave the 25 man to finish our 10 man, so the replaced me with a pug healer...LOL FAIL) We attempted Naxx again yesterday at 4H, but people were so burnt out. However, I made a lot of friends, and now they are all trying to recruit me lmao! I should. If I don't soon, all my raiding with them will be pointless because they are implementing non guildies can't roll...So...Shit ....Tried to get a 10 man eye going, but we couldn't get the druid healer we wanted, so we called it before it started.

But...My priest is getting leet everyday! *Clings to my priest*

*Edits* Ok, I wanted to amend my story about Patchwerk. So I'm happily elemental shaman for the run, but we get 6-7 disconnects, long waits, it takes as an hour and a half from beginning of instance to be ready to pull patchwerk (yes, if you know the instance, it was just that bad as far as people being doochy, needing repairs (For the love of pete, repair before you run and don't give me crap about being out of money, run one damn daily...)

Ugh. So we're all waiting to find a new healer. We play thrash em robots for a while (I get 8 kill streak record, fTw!) and we're still waiting, and I noticed the horde of rats to our right has respawned. Well I have a stack of 11 critter bites just waiting for my achievement, so I toddle over there, and just feed rats, and boom! Achievement!!!

Well, apparently if you befriend a critter, it doesn't count as a pet, but a level 1 nuisance. And amazingly, level 1 things have a HUGE agro range to level 84 (er 83?) abominations... PLAY TIME!!! ... yes, I was completely and horribly responsible for one of our wipes... it was awesome.

My first toon was my priest Later I made a warrior, shockingly I suck at being a warrior, even a deep fury two handed mace weilding one. I die constantly.



Our guilds really good abour repairs/regents and such, tho I always seem to miss the freaking hot pocket mage table. I'm pretty notorious for AFK'ing while everybody zones in and come back start chit chatting then we pull. When we hit a boss is normally when I go, "Damn it! I missed the table again." There's like 4 guildies that grab extra for me every single run because I ALWAYS miss the table.



LOL our ele shaman did the same damn thing our first Naxx 25. He had a bunch of spiders, and some rats and mr. bigglesworth and accidentally pulled the first few mobs in Military Wing and since people were still zoning in killed like 1/3rd off us off. Freakin ele shamans.

We just love all animals! Damn, awesome he got Mr. Bigglesworth, I'm jealous actually... I wish I thought of it (before someone killed him maliciously).

I'm actually really good at tanking as a warrior. Just put a good priest besides me, and BAMO! I've been pushing instances with my buddy, we ran AN, then Old Kingdom at 71 with really lousy groups and pulled them through, and then we just did VH at 73 (that was lots of fun, though the dps was all "I dunnoe if you can handle it" but we showed them. Then we did it at 75 with a sub-par dps (ok bad dps and then one of the hunters DC'd towards the end! Apparently if you don't kill stuff fast enough, new portals spawn. I didn't realize this, cuz it never happened before. But it happened about 2 portals before the boss, and I was holding dualing portals, AND THEN the boss came out. I think we could have pulled it off, except one of the portal mages iced my healer when I wasn't paying attention, and I didn't hit my last stand or shield wall in time... grrr.

But I got the shield on the 2nd boss, and had to run to my Nax run, so I don't have to run VH again till heroic! WOooh!

I'm now geared up to Gun'drak and i just made 75 (Gun'drak has a single ring from the last boss... ugh.) So I'm probably going to grind through Dragonblight quests, then do Zul'ferek (or whatever it's called) so I can have the dungeon quests there. Blegh, and I also need the grizzly hills quest line so I can do the quest chain for Drak'Tharon. Too much work I say! Priesty! To me! We have quests to do!... (after I finish grinding work, UGHIFAWAH!)

K so...Me and my friend Sillymoo, (he's a resto druid) made a 2's team for points right? Well, naturally we lost game won because we were both healers. So he respecced. We started raping face. (We're both PvE specced with no resilience sadly) So my heals kept topping him off, and no one could take me down. Well, we ended up losing a few in the middle, but our last fight was against another Lock DK combo. Oh man....

He killed the DK, the lock killed him, I thought he was the only one alive. So I was like MOOEY! I CAN'T KILL THEM BOTH! And he was like, Hunny, the DK is dead. I was like...O....I CAN'T KILL THE LOCK! And he was like Sure you can! So....

15 minutes later...Me and this lock are still going at it. Now mind you, I am 35/36/0 PvE raid specced. This lock and I nearly killed eachother 5 times. A 15 minute fucking battle. I can't even describe it. But finally, my Devouring plague stopped ticking on him and he dropped to 452, I was like NO! Because he was already out of range and his felguard stunned me to death...So like...He was about to sit down and drink, but I got to close so he life drained me..I was like fuck! SWD wouldn't go off....Well, it finally did, and the game ended.

Mooey was like Kimi, that was a really bad ass fight. You were amazing. Good job and a very nice try. I was like...Mooey, what are you talking about? And he said, I was sayin that you did amazing and that's why it's ok that we lost. I was like....Mooey.....We won....He was like..What? The SWD didn't kill you? I was like lol no...He had like 500 health left...He was like...We won? I was like ya. He was like...You beat a warlock!? I was like....uh ya...And he was like OMG KIMI YOU'RE FUCKING AWESOME! I LOLed so hard IRL....We were both shocked. I told my friend Dradicus (Who is also a lock) and he was like...Kimi, you're not female anymore. I was dying...

The lock I killed was a gnome too ....And all of our friends were speechless that Mooey and I did it lmfao.

*blink*... *blink*. <.< Alright, so that was spectacular...

And I decided... I'm going to make a prot pvp spec. Something that includes all the stuns/interupts/silences/reflects and everything they do so well, and then pump as much dps into the spec as well. I happened to join a BG when heading to VH the other day, but my gruop wasn't full yet, so I decided to stick around in the battle. I never realized that Prot Warriors can now pvp! I was 75, so already underleveled, and able to be spanked. But I charged the blacksmith, which was under assault to begin with, and it's a lock. So they instantly decide to fear me, I stun them, and then shield bash (hah hah, pop buff), they try to dot so I reflect at least one of em back them. At this point they're rogue and DK are joining the fight, so I aoe stun the lot of em, and by then my back up has arrived. Well for some dumb reason the hordies decide to take me out first, so I start beating on them, and then I see one guy running for my healer so I charge him, stun him, turn and aoe the hordies again, and by the time they recover, they've been obliterated... it was terrific!

I've never had as much fun in a BG! I think if you threw a Prot warrior into an arena, they shear about of screw upicussery would send the enemies into a panic and = easy win! (Stun main group, charge healer (dps tries to save healer) stun healer, aoe fear rest, clear the healer's buffs with a few shields to the face, interupt silence, win!

OMG I did the exact same thing one time. It was BC Arena, I was a mostly Holy/Disc Spec Raid healer, with a few points in Blessed Resliance and Martydom just to survive in PVP a bit better. But my 2v2 at the time was me and a hunter who stayed survival ( EDIT: marksman )spec again for raiding. We wern't the most optimum team. Either way had a similar issue, where in the end it was just me and a warlock. We pretty much played ring around the column, dotting each other, I'd heal through it, he'd life drain...and so it went. After like 15minutes I finally wore him down, it was just rediculous. Finally got him to a decently low HP number and SW:D'd him, the swd didn't kill him and i took the backlash of it and was like SHIT!!! but then my gimpy holy priest sw:p got em a bit later.

This was before they implemented the healer's getting bonus from healing gear for damage... such a crazy fight. I remeber my heart was racing by the end. 0_o

My heart was racing SO fast. Ya, ring around the columns with dots is EXACTLY what we did rofl....Oh man. Thank god I have Desperate prayer and inner focus plus will of the forsaken and my PvP trinket!
