Ok I know you all are busy right now, but I was wondering if we will ever get more updates per week, I remember two challenges to get it (the first one we did not meet) but what about the second? Also why can we not just get more updates so we can read more comics?

you do realize that just the actual comic (the art) of each comic takes around 11-15 hours to make.

Indeed. Longer still, if you include the storyboard, for I believe that most comic writers actually make a script for their artist(s) before the artist can create the art.

For me to make one comic, it takes perhaps 4 to 8 hours (depending on the complexity of the strip), mostly because, even though it is only a 600px by 600px image, the coloring is really... weird. Then you have to get the inking and the speech bubbles (and text) just the right way for it to look good.

I can see why they only update only so often. Unless you think that they don't have a life and their time should revolve around comic making 24/7, or they should just do a comic that has a lower artistic effort put into it (like, no color), then I shouldn't see why you shouldn't get more comics.

Plus, you know, they do LICD nightly and are working on the movie, LICD TV series, and now a video game.

I understand how you feel. We're all eager for more comics!

But as you said yourself, they're very busy, and the amount of work that goes into each page is more than you might think. Just try to be patient. It's worth the wait. wink.gif

Yeah, updates are meant to keep you Updated, and not to make you happy... kind of ... or not.... whatever!

As much as I would love the thrice-weekly updates, I dunno if I'd be able to handle it. I have to scramble to make sure I don't miss the two updates a week.

But that's just me.

We will get 3 a week, if the comics sell good enough...

That would be great, regardless of the rewards. Too bad I'm hundreds of miles away from my usual stomping grounds, in both directions.
