i really like what you did with the archives page, and what you did for the avatars in the extras.

I like the yellowish filter over the comic button, nice touch.

indeed, the codex has said 'coming soon' for at least a half-year o.O

Was worried something changed while I was gone.

For a sec I thought the site was messing up because of my computer, then I realized HEY! They changed it!

<Is slightly blah right now.

All I can see is the ads on the side and the links to random parts of the site; other than that, there's nothing on the page.

You guys caught me flat-footed with the new layout.
I sure hope you can't do sneak attacks.

But I like it. Really nifty, conveys a nice atmosphere while reading the comic.
Also the Richard in the background top right of the strip is really neat (I know the pisture isnt new, but it is really nicely placed there)

It is more professional looking and has an overall nicer feel, but I have to admit it took a moment to find where to click on the comic which seems a little darker now than before and not as easy to see. Once I got past that tho, no prob.

Keep up the good work.

About the archive, do you always stack your book that way Sohmer? Seems a little likely to fall.

I really do not like it; I think it is overly complicated and clumsy for the reason of reading the comic. The page now looks like a blog and it took me a second to find the actual comic, which makes me feel like the comic is less important then it should be; I come here to read the comic, and then check the blog - not the other way around.

I do not suppose we can have a choice in viewing it :-)

Ah! I love it! Wonderful, it has that fantasy-feel to it now that it lost with the other update.

I'm fine with it, although I get used to one look and when it's changed it kinda bugs me for a while. But, that's what happens to websites, and everything else.



Well, you can't please everyone. Most everyone likes it, though, so it's a good job.

I like the new layout. It is shmexy, but being a slightly new reader I was really caught off guard with it....

Yeah, im having issues with the RSS feed also, from what i can see, it seams to be malformed...

Very nice layout Sohmer that must have taken allot of time. Hopefully you will be able to get the forum layout done maybe by next week and yes we will let you know if we come across any bugs.

its intristing but i thought i want to the home button at first

very nice. I'm curious about the brown shade over the current comic though because when I lag out my internet and load the page the small picture of the current comic appears but it takes a while for the shade to appear, just wondering if it was flash or how it was added in and reacts to a cursor

And the Codex?

Everything looks great, but the forum revamp disabled my 'Last Read Post' info, so I'm not sure where I've left off everywhere. Owell. At least its not gone all together.
