I noticed two things
A) Cale's swords are shorter than usual, almost like, half blades or something.

B ) Is it just me, or is there a dark glow around cale's swords? I think I might be imagining stuff.

Was anyone else reminded of a certain duck when the soldiers were drilling? "Ho! Ha ha! Dodge! Turn! Parry! Ha! Thrust!" *Whack!*

They threw Richard in? Richard is the next best thing when cruise missles arn't handy, just throw him in and let him work.

I did get a kick out of how he casually picks himself up and comes out and says he's the diversion.

That's dramatic lighting effect, I think.

And shorter than usual? They're at least two feet long, probably more! They're pretty long to be wielded Florentine already, just how big do you think they're supposed to be?

God I love those old Looney Tunes. "What's Opera, Doc?" was another great one.

Interesting, in the first 30 seconds of battle, they have already defeated 15 soldiers. If they continue at this pace they should be finished in about seven and a half minutes. Excluding the Cale, Benny, and Pella factor.

Richard's got the bunny because there's nothing that says "You guys are pansies" like dropping in on them and killing them all with a bunny in one hand.

I think it's more Richard doesn't kill what he likes ... he obviously likes the group he is with, otherwise he wouldn't be around them and he hasn't tried to murder any of them ... so far

Richard with the Bunny nestled in the crook of his arm in panel 8 looks amazingly cute. He seems to have a new mascot. Bunny doesn't look too happy, though.


Richard will soon study the Path of the Hamster Kicker.

Thats on point right there. Richard can do whatever the hell he wants, and he doesn't miss a chance to let everyone know. If anything, the bunny makes him even more badass. His introduction of Krunch was priceless. "Say hello to my little friend. Now say hello to his larger, angrier friend." Krunch didn't seem too angry. Just content with beating the shit outta the people who took over his homeland.

It just goes to show, some people have to try to be badass, Richard's badass when he falls on his face and holds bunnies.

Also, the bunny inspired me to change avatars, something I don't do normally.

Precisely. There's just something amazingly and inherently so badass about Richard that he's able to get away with doing things and saying things that would look and sound ridiculous coming from any other person but for him it works.

That's what I like to call good writing.

Good question, but people will probably go for the "bunnyspace" answer. As for Richard flying, well in the end he was riding the wind in the last comic. Oh dear, I think I just realised why he got a face plant...

Richard: "I'll fly over the place and blast everyone, just give me a boost Krunch."
Krunch: "Are you sure? There's no wind current at the moment..."
Richard: "Just do it."

The rest is history.

Is it just me or does the bunny have a kind of scary "Finally! I get to see some action." Look in the 7th panel and a "Huh?! What happened? No action?" look in the 8th? Then again, I do think I'm losing my mind.

As for the "Where was the bunny?" question, I think a warlock as powerful as Richard could be able to create an infinite universe inside his pocket, or at least a big enough one to stash a bunny safely.

And no, Richard is not made of bones, he is made of a icky green goo, see here. In fact I didn't see any bones at all. I think he is 100% magically animated protoplasm.

I think Richard realized that this group is much more fun alive than dead. After all... one would get bored after a few hundred (or thousand) years of trying out all the possibilities of killing. I know I would.

Richard doesn't love his bunny. He's undead. And while a 'soul' may be needed for loving and feeling, what you really need is glands. If you've ever read the Discworld series, you'll find that when people die in that series, they don't feel emotions anymore. What they have is the memory of emotions, which is almost the same thing.

I think Richard's just keeping the bunny to amuse himself. Is it really possible for him to have friends? He's got a group of people he travels with because they let him kill things. That's what he likes. The bunny doesn't give a damn who or what he kills. The bunny isn't going to reprimand him for killing something.

Maybe he'll kill it and make it an undead bunny. I'd like to see him riding a supersized undead bunny. It seems like something he would do just to be Richard.

Look at when Benny's healing his stomach. You can see his spine reforming.

Also, when he gets electrocuted by the shamans you can see his skeleton.

The bunny is kept in BunnySpace. Litterally. BunnySpace is a pocket universe in which Richard stores his bunny, and other cute accessories, and which is only accessable through Richard's magic. BunnySpace should not be confused with SoobaSpace, the magical dimension in which Sooba resides.
