Aw, Richard looks so happy, like a happy little boy, in panel 7. Almost like chibi-Richard in the nursery.
Also, that panel should be included in any D&D dictionary under "alignments"

:
"See the lawful and neutral characters making battle plans, while the chaotic evil character dances around humming to himself, not even paying attention."
I'm not sure if Richard is aware of it (and if so would he care?), but his attitude is like a giant kick in Krunch's face. "Yeah yeah, tactics, blablabla, tell me when you guys are done talking and ready to go slaughter some people. Until then I'll be in the other room playing GuitarHero."

Richard has pants beneath the robe... what a revelation!
I may have been scarred for life by that image.
Richard wears red knickerbockers?

Er... at least I hope those are breeches. Um... considering that his legs from the knee down seem to be nearly skeletal/mummified, maybe those red
things are skinless exposed thigh muscles?

(I need a green vomit smiley here ASAP!)
Which raises the dire question: How does Richard smell?

(Please, no "dog with no nose" puns) Didn't he make a remark about "when you're undead you stop worrying about personal hygiene" or something some time ago? Or am I hallucinating that?
Seriously, this update rekindles the fires of my old hypothesis that Richard used to be a woman in life. That, or he's really really campy.

also what are they planning to do to that poor fort and its garrison?
Send in Richard like a small mobile tactical weapon?
I wonder will the garrison's clerics be able to stop him with shield spells like Benny has? or by blocking Richard's magics?, or was that a special ability of Lord Stoll's shamans?
I wonder why the gate is open.

I mean, huge fort, built from stone, with big fat walls, but the front door is open, and there's no sentries? No guards? Odd. Did Cale or Richard already kill them?
Nitpicks:
How did Cale (and
Pella) find out so much? Exact numbers of soldiers, wizards, clerics, that's rather precise info. Did Cale climb the highest trees next to the fortress and took a peek? Did he make himself invisible with ancient elven mojo and just wander in through the door? Did he and Pella disguise themselves as wandering apple sellers?
Wait, two moons, and both are in the same phase? Er, I'm not an astronomer, but is that even possible?

What would be the orbital mechanics? Ok, it's a
fantasy world, i'll stop thinking about this.

It's probably a homage to some 1980s fantasy art by Larry Elmore. Fantasy artists always seem to draw multiple moon like this.
I could be picky and point out the lack of arrow slits and crennelations and those thingies... what are they called in English? machicolations?... over the gate where defenders traditionally poured down the hot tar on attackers and door-to-door salesmen...

Not to mention they didn't clear the trees and underbrush from the surroundings; you know, the stuff that attackers can use to hide in, or set fire to. But I'll let it slide. The fortress looks cool.
