Era, this is amazing work. The detail you have is phenomenal!

Now I am very happy.
But given the rest of the work I've seen here, it's nothing special. I can't draw hair, for example. I am a lesser demon... D:

For some reason I can't find it now, but to whomsoever did that awesome graphic art/photoshop piece of the hands holding the sparkling orange flower of energy and eye-candy... I would like to inform you that I have stolen it and it now graces my desktop.
Is the piece called "Flower Power"?

"It's over 9,000!!!"

Here's a question: Is the art thread only for illustrative art or is writing allowed too? Is there a separate thread for fanfictions and stories and etc...? (Not the RP threads)

Because it takes longer and more effort to write something than to draw something.

We could create something? And just have people post links to their work or say they're interested in having someone read it...pass emails around and get some positive feedback? Cause I know I'd like some on mine ><

You'll rethink that one if you ever read any of my writing.

Seriously though, sketches yeah, you can bang out quickly, but I've seen my brother agonize over drawings for quite a long time. I'm sure there are plenty who take their time. *shrug*

I think we need a comment thread for this new thread, or expand this thread for it.

Blind - Because you're probably not hearing this enough with all the shit you're putting up with and the massive shit hole hours you're working (and sacrificing the tip of your finger for the cause!), but...Good job!

I actually don't really know what the pictures mean, but they look like they took work and could work as real buildings. Thats at least half the point, right?

GO BLIND GO, YOU THE MAN! YOU CAN DO IT!

Thank you, It's a pose pulled from a Luis Royo painting. IR lazy sometimes. It still needs alot of work, I tend to work on it while I'm at work during down time, so it's a very slow work in progress heh.
One day I'll finish it

this is suposed to become a tattoo one day
Omg. I drew something very similar about 6 years ago and then got it tatoo'd on my upper thigh/hip (like it's climbing up my leg). The pose is almost identical but the style is different, mines more line art not so much flesh.
Whish I had a camera (my camera phone is crap) I'd take a pic right now and post it. Freaky 0_o
Edit: Seriously.. I keep looking at your sketch and freaking myself out. It's like looking at the fleshy version of my drawing..... seriously...freakin me out.

Actually I looked at my tatto yesterday in the mirror. It's funny how they become so much a part of you you kinda forget about em. Anyway the pose is close but not exact.
Where Nem's creatures right arm is going down, my tatt's right arm is reaching up. Nem's left arm is going up, mine reaches down. I totally forgot to take a pic tho.

Double Post argh I'm bad.
But I took a pick of my tatt

That would be my left thigh. It's funny, but he's kinda streched and squashed some over the years as my weight has changed. He's a little more plump (as am I) than when I did it all those years ago heh.
The Tattoo Artists had to resketch this from my original drawing as the original had to much tiny line work. What I currently wear is his rendition of my drawing. And, he did it for free

Hey Nemerida, the one you posted with the... er, weirdness... the one that looks like random parts put together, with the eye and the twisting and the stuff... (it's pretty cool, by the way)
It totally looks like the crazy alien thing in the movie I just watched. Er, well, looks like it could be it. 80's alien horror flick called The Thing. It shapeshifts, but kinda odd, and tends to just look like a bizarre conglomeration of random parts from random creatures.

@Behp: I thought I recognized you from Lars' ustream tonight. He kept saying B-E-H-P or something like that. But so many people would chat that I couldn't see what you said.
Anyway, liking your artwork. Looks like it's coming along nicely. I would critique it more when it's near finalization.

Thanks, Well that piece is as finished as it will be, They are just random doodling for practice, Like I said in the ustream, I started sketching every day on my commute from and to work, as well as in photoshop, Im seeing quite the improvement, I guess its coming back to me, since I left art a bit in favor of programming.
But I'll keep sketching so I will probably keep posting to show my progress,
