Skin Deep
Star cross'd Destiny
The Dreamer
Pinky TA
Charby the Vampirate
NPC
Ethos
Purgatory Tower

That one actually was a comic before they found it more profitable to go online with it.
It's not too bad.

They do still sell the "comic" versions, although they're more like "collections" in softcover books. Very good quality, but they only put out like two a year, so one has to be patient.

It's nigh impossible to easily or reliably acquire comic books in the actual in my country. Aside from small stores hidden in the city, there are next to no places they can even be found let alone quality or variety.

Actually philosophy does not need age pent.
It doesn't even require wisdom, it just needs some level of understanding of humanity in a way that has not been seen before.
You consider "trying something new" giving up? Or was there another point here?
pentheraphobia
Jan 16 2008, 03:38 AM
ok then. if i am a philosopher, then i think(key word) my way of life is leading to what might(key word too) be the ultimate, but not yet.
to try something deriving off it is giving up the present train of thought. not necesarily a bad thing in every situation.

Doesn't even need that. You can be a philosopher and never have an original thought in your life. You just won't be a memorable one.
A philosopher is one who attempts philosophy.
A good philosopher has a lot of stuff going for him besides that.

All well known Russian leaders had facial hair. My friend did an essay on that in AP Euro and got a 9.
But on the topic, I just don't care for Penny Arcade anymore. I liked them about a year ago, but it seemed the jokes just got old or something. I know it's based on current video game events so the jokes are new, but they're old(if that makes any sense at all).

That's something I always found fascinating, especially when applied to language. There seems to be no intrinsic "dirtiness" involved in any sounds or acts - otherwise all cultures all over would agree on a lot more of them - but instead it's what the sounds or acts mean in relation to a culture that make them "dirty". And accounting for this, it is acceptable to use a placeholder (especially for swearing) that means the exact same thing but now is not dirty.
It's really an interesting semantic distinction.
