Sorry, couldn't help myself
But I swear the first thing I said when I got the parcel in my arms was "Remain calm, do not alarm the customers."

I have a bigger project planned for this lil guy later, which I will share here.

Aww, he's so cute. ^^ I heard that Richard was going to be sent out with a little card that gives more insight into him. Can you give those of us who couldn't order one a hint as to what it says? Pweese? *puppy dog eyes*

As everyone else has already stated, brilliant title. I posted my pics in another thread but is most likely better suited in here so here are mine.

I was gonna put him in the center of my ragtag figure/plushie collection, but I have this nagging feeling that I'm gonna come home one day to the latter being charred, dismembered and arranged in an intriguing yet innovative work of abstract sculpure.

Le sigh. I bought one for my little brother for Christmas. He got it this week, but the fireball arm fell off shortly after.

Luckily it fell off right at the shoulder, so we should be able to glue it without any visible damage.
I guess you could say... he loved it to bits. It was a bit belated for Christmas, but he thought it was awesome. Thanks to everyone who made it.

Some of them have already broken??
That's disappointing! I'd hoped they would be sturdy enough, considering how much they cost.
Never thought I'd have to be
gentle with
Richard.

If he breaks, I'll him better. That'll learn him!!

So if the figurine has a small woodland creature about to meet a fiery end, does the doll have a baby shoved in his cowl?

I broke my 'dick'.

An alternative title was "I need my Gid figurine now"
EDIT: I notice how everyone's fwoosh arm is the guilty culprit.

We've noticied something quite curious, the arms in which contains the fire and the rabbit have been switched on the figurine we have recieved.

Jan 19 2008, 09:51 PM
So...He's staring at his flaming hand...While holding a rabbit behind him? Are they removable?
Or do you mean he's just using his left hand to hold the rabbit in front?

He's using his left hand to hold the rabbit while his right hand is holding the flame.

You've found the elusive Mirror Richard! He's a clever doppleganger, you'd never have guessed it was an imposter.
Hey if these figurines increase in value, maybe the reversed one will be a one-of-a-kind, prized by collecters.
