Also, it's a punchline. Well, more of a gag, as the actual punchline was Cale getting crisped. It's a comedic tool, and besides. He's the Lord of Darkness. If he wants to mayor a village, I don't really see anyone stopping him.

I really think he's just making up titles as he goes along.

I dunno, sounded like he came up with it beforehand and just likes an excuse to say it.

He might have just been joking around.

When he's first introducing himself to Cale and going through all those "titles" he may have just been messing around in order to to further confuse and torment Cale. Or maybe Richard like having a lot of titles because they make him feel important. Who knows what goes through that warlock's head?

His name is Richard (Dick) so yea, he probably went and either made up or collected a half dozen or more titles to make up for it. Its like a Napoleonic Complex, only its about his name instead of hight or baldness.

Still sure he can back up those claims pretty well.

And I think its some sort of acheivement system. Like, for every x number of people you kill, you get a title. The Chief Warlock of the Brothers of Darkness one is probably ranking rather than a general title, though.
