I'm just curious. Where does richard's power come from? I personally play a warlock and trust me from the best of my knowledge there is no ice spells that warlock's wield. So naturally that brings up the question of how Richard use's ice spells in the animation and the comic aswell. No slight against Richard he is by far my personal fav. character.

His power comes from where all warlocks' powers come from, Dark Gods or demons or such. We'll probably find out precisely where in the movie.

By the way, this comic is not about Warcraft, never has, and never will be.

just a slight resemblence to the WoW universe thats all.. but the races and spells all go hand in hand, i mean you may think wow because your seeing an orc and undead warlock but hey... all fantasies have them

just because you play WoW doesnt mean this is a WoW comic, it could be anything..

besides, worship the dark gods harder in WoW youll get your deathmagic and ice spells in no time .

As a hardcore WARCRAFT fan, I have to object to that term.

The universe existed before WoW, will exist after WoW and WoW has done nothing but ruined it.

Never have I claimed it is anyone else's than Blizzard's.

I however hate people who think WoW is the only part of Warcraft, concerning it's the worst part of the series.

Warlocks are corrupted mages. There is no proof that they lose the spells they had as mages when they become warlocks.

Richard's power comes from death, pure and simple. The more he kills, the stronger he gets. He can cast ice spells because he wants to, if he wanted to he could turn everyone into giant, pink, tap dancing, marshmallows.

The comic is in some way based off world of warcraft. As in some parts of the comic there races (Like Cales) are being looked at from the races in WoW. Like when Richard said Cales race was evil, which he is referring to Blood Elves.

Also I do not think a random WoW head video in the Animation part of the website is just there for kicks.
