I wasn't reading the comic at the very beginning, so I don't quite know if it started before or after the last Thanksgiving (but I believe it was close). Thus, I cannot be sure if they already ignored Thanksgiving once.

Yeah, yeah. They generally don't use RL holidays in the comic, but that should never stop basesless speculation in a forum (I believe such an absence would crack one of the lesser seals to the apocalypse).

So, what do you envision in these 4 hrs before new comic hits? And how'd you like the title? And, no, it does not truly date me, I just watched Airplane and sequels.

Personally, I don't care either way if they implement Thanksgiving (or any other holiday) into the comic. It wouldn't really be relevant, but then again, I'm sure it wouldn't deter from the story much. As long as any turkey we see was fwoom-roasted by Richard, then I'll be happy :-p

Watch, the group will run frantically into the nursery looking for Richard, only to see that he's already prepared one of the babies like a Thanksgiving turkey. >_<

Officially it marks the first harvest that the puritans were able to produce after arriving in America. Unofficially its a day devoted gluttony, American football, and attempting to ignore deep seatd issues one has with one's own family.

An American holiday. Once started because "hey! the harvest is in and we actually have food for the winter now!" said holiday has evolved to a day to gorge on turkey and other foodstuffs with family, watch a big parade and maybe some American football, followed by a day off to go shopping (commonly known as "Black Friday").

ehhhhhh. Black friday. *shudders* Smart people stay away from shopping malls and department stores on black friday.

Guess who gets to handle all the customers on Black Friday? *raises hand* I'm going to need some serious hugs after work that day.

Unfortunately I also must work the holiday. But on the bright side, I work the night shift at a grocery store, it'll be dead all night, save for a handfull of intoxicated locals, and they'll leave around 2 am anyway.

As stated earlier, Thanksgiving is an American tradition. It is celebrated strictly in the confines of the united states. Seeing as LFG is a Canadian based comic with a fully Canadian team behind it, I doubt that ther'd be any mention or reference to thanksgiving. In addition, this comic is made for the purpose of making an actual paper comic. any inside jokes about any sort of hilodays would lose it's charm and usefulness in the comic format. therefore, I doubt they'll ever make any special holiday references in the comic.... perhaps a wallpaper for christmass if Lar has the time. One can only hope

Think there was an early Thanksgiving reference when Richard 'cook' that blue bird in the panel where he and Hctib reunited, though it ain't turkey though. >.>

I was actually gonna go out on Black Friday, mostly because I'll have the chance and need winter clothes. Then I get to my cousins, and not only are we going out, but her boss decides he wants her to pick up 8 Wiis while shes out. 8 Wiis. Its madness I tell you!! This guy expects us to go out on BLACK FRIDAY and find, and purchase, not one, but eight Wiis.

As for the Thanksgiving thing, it doesn't need to be in the comic. (Frankly, I wouldn't want it to be. Seems way outta place.) Us [american] fans can take care of it. ^.^

I've got some leftover turkey and mashed potatoes. And we even still have a bit of cheesecake left. Want some?

Thanksgiving isn't a U.S. only holiday. Canadians have it too. Ours is just in October instead of in November. And we don't make as much of a big deal of it. No crazy shopping days. (Except maybe the day before, when everyone's rushing to get food and tableware.)
