All these pictures were taken at extreme closeups (the camera was about three inches away) in order to show the detail. They are much smaller than they look in these images. The largest bead I made, the black one with the big blue dots in this image, is only 3/4 inch in diameter. The really tiny ones in this image are only about a quarter of an inch across.
The pictures could have been better, but I'm still getting used to my digital camera, and the closeup setting is very picky to focus.
These three links are the beads I made last year in the first class I took. Many are lopsided, but some came out very nicely.
These are the beads I did last weekend. Most of them are "raked heart" beads; all are made with "soft" glass, which melts more easily than borosilicate glass and has more available colors. The two larger black ones have red hearts on them, but they didn't show up well.

Various hemp bracelets and chokers I made. The first and third bracelets were made from store-bought kits. I really just wanted the instructions for the bracelets, so I can make some with my own beads later.
The second and fourth are from patterns I found in a book, made with beads from my first class.

Here's a swan I made on top of a glass rod. Keep in mind, it's only 1-1/8 inches tall. It just looks huge because of the closeup.

Also did another teddy bear. He's one and a half inches tall. Third try; I wasn't happy with the first two. I'm giving this one to my aunt, who's a teddy bear fanatic.

I also made a second snowman, which is better than my first, but I'm still not entirely happy with it. I'd like to get more practice and do these figurines in colored glass.
