they are just drawn with that incessive smile >< even when it doesn't fit the mood at all

I think it's mostly that a lot of the characters are sarcastic and cynical... plus, it's just how Lar likes to draw his characters n_n And you mustn't question the all-mighty Lar.....
*menacing glare*

They like to smile. Or before they go onto stage to be drawn by Lar they put on Botox.

I feel this might have something to do with Pella. I've only seen her not smile once. Seriously, if she's gonna stick around she needs to learn some new expressions.

Pella is just going to be on the sidelines all the time. I bet you that.
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 09:17 PM
Seems pointless to me. We have Sooba for that, and Sooba is so much better.
NE_have_rabies
Nov 10 2007, 09:18 PM
Yeah, Soobs beats Pella on the cool-o-meter by like... a bajillion. So there.

Smiles make the world go 'round my friend.

Way ahead of ya.
Mr. Shadow
Nov 10 2007, 09:43 PM
What are you insinuating?
Get away from me.
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 09:52 PM
Hehe, I don't have to be anywhere near you.
GutterBall
Nov 10 2007, 09:58 PM
I can feel the love in this thread.
*smiles*
Ha!
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 09:59 PM
*pickles* Oops. Wonder who that was locked on to?
GutterBall
Nov 10 2007, 10:05 PM
O.o
Geez, Rip. You're feeling frisky. What'd you...run over a small child or something?
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 10:10 PM
I wish, I'd be in so much a better mood.
GutterBall
Nov 10 2007, 10:22 PM
Awwww...if it'll make you feel better, I'll promise you my firstborn to roast as you choose.
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 10:23 PM
Hmm. Depends. I don't want it if you have it naturally, and I'd need to know who the father is.
GutterBall
Nov 10 2007, 10:25 PM
Well, at it's best, me having a child would be unnatural. I have absolutely no maternal instincts and less desire to spawn.
As for the father....
*slow smile*
Let's just say he's not in the picture yet.
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 10:27 PM
Just keep that in mind, and I may take you up on the offer.
Now Rabies offspring...that's some grade-A spawn of evil right there.
Sayuri Kajira

Note to self: ...Cross-breed Sayvid with whoever or whatever Rab-Herself spawns.

Nov 10 2007, 10:34 PM
Genetic Engineering makes me smile?
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 10:34 PM
At that point it would be a little muted with all them other genes mixed in.
Me, I want the pure stuff....ooh, it'd be better if I steal an egg and tube-fetus it, wouldn't it? *grabs some chloroform, vials, and a couple syringes* I'll be right back. I have to..um...let the dog out.
Sayuri Kajira
Nov 10 2007, 10:39 PM

That poor pooch.
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 10:53 PM
*returns with a corgi* Wasthat?
Sayuri Kajira
Nov 10 2007, 10:57 PM

I want one!!
Mr. Shadow
Nov 10 2007, 11:04 PM

Can it smile?
Sayuri Kajira
Nov 10 2007, 11:09 PM
Puppy could use a bleach job on those pearly whites... I have the Chlorox!
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 11:14 PM
*grabs corgi*
MINE.

Haven't decided what to name it yet.
Sayuri Kajira
Nov 10 2007, 11:16 PM
Name it Sayuri!! Name it Sayuri!! ...Or Steve. Probably Steve.
Rip Van Ishmael
Nov 10 2007, 11:18 PM
Yea. No.
And why would I want to doom my dog to death by manta ray?
Ghislord
Nov 10 2007, 11:21 PM
Quit derailing these things. There shall be no derailing in the comics Froums.
Ishmel and SK, consider yourselves publicly warned. Next time I catch the two of you derailing there'll be private messages and possibly banning time.
G!
