everybodies always smiling in the comic! well...most of the time they are just drawn with that incessive smile >< even when it doesn't fit the mood at all

why?

I think it's mostly that a lot of the characters are sarcastic and cynical... plus, it's just how Lar likes to draw his characters n_n And you mustn't question the all-mighty Lar.....

I feel this might have something to do with Pella. I've only seen her not smile once. Seriously, if she's gonna stick around she needs to learn some new expressions.
