I've played practically every MMO in existance and find myself back to WoW after(at the most) 2-3 months
When I'm not wandering around Azeroth I'm probably sitting and playing an RPG of some sort, creating my own, or knifing people in BF2142. As you can see, I have no life

I'm one of those people who exists in the "outside world". Admittedly though I do love a couple hours now and then on my Xbox 360. Gears of War or Oblivion are my preferences. I do play some Diablo II now and then, and have been working through Evil Genius as of late. Maybe I'll save up and get a computer that isn't begging me to put it into a pet washing machine by trying to f@&k with me all the time, then give this WoW a shot that everyone keeps raving about. Can you play as a small innocent bunny in that game?

Found this comic from LICD, which I'm a big fan of, and even though I really hate RPGs (more of a FPS / Strategy man), I really tend to like RPG comics (since, unlike the games, they're actually good and funny), and LFG is no exception, making me wanna make that bastard Richard my dad.

I heard of LFG from CAD.

Oh Arrogant Worms! *sigh* Ontario Sucks!
Heya, I'm Farfegnugen on both forums, I'm (almost) 21 and living in Ottawa, until this weekend when I move to Hull! But I'm actually from Vancouver...and the Northwest Territories. Long story.
I play D&D, and pretty much any other d20 tabletop RPG when the opportunity arises, although I boast no special skill in this. I will also play WoW, in fits and starts, if I can get near enough a fast computer; but my heart forever belongs to Quest For Glory.
Mainly though, I'm a literature/culture nerd. I've read Dragonlance extensively, and several other little series. I can quote LOTR and the original Star Wars Trilogy at will, and TGN is teh bomb.
I found LICD through a link on Nuklear Power about a year and a half ago, and have been a fan ever since!

I followed the little post in the LICD blog. Now I'm hooked because of the incredible awesomeness that resides in the 2 individuals who created this mastery.
I have never played WoW. If it weren't for the fact I had my own games first, I'd probably almost claim to be a WoW widow. But I'm pretty sure that happend the other way around. I'm currently stuck playing in a NWN server and the OC of NWN2, as well as trying to figure out how to make the NWN2 Toolset work in the little ways that I scream at it to. It doesn't listen.
Oh. Fair warning. I ramble. A lot. I also talk funny. Ha ha.

Hey, my name is, obviously, Eagal. That being gaelic for 'fear.'
I'm 17, and most people think I'm 21+ due to the fact that I'm tall. And I am most definitely male.
I currently live in a small, boring town on top of a mountain. Actually, it's in the bowl of a volcano(not very smart, eh).
If it's fantasy, or sci-fi, I love it. Except for Star Trek. I can't stand Star Trek.
Also, I play lots of videogames. FPS's and Strategy games mainly. And Warcraft. Lots of Warcraft.

Jan 27 2007, 04:12 AM
I was gonna do the AA joke but RATM beat me to it...
I'm Valian, a name plagiarized from the X-Wing series by Michael A. Stackpole (the only star wars fiction that I've read, it's really quite good)
I'm struggling through the death throes of the end of high school before going to college
My sister is a high-level officer in the Penny Arcade guild in WoW (my claim to fame), but I don't have the time or the money to get into it so I get my fix from such blizzard classics as Diabolo II, Starcraft and Warcraft 3, since my computer has a seizure if I try to play anything too demanding.
I also stole my avvie from a LFG strip, guess which one!
I heard about LFG from LICD, which I heard about a year or two ago from CAD, which I heard about from a friend. I also read Penny Arcade, Sore Thumbs, Press Start to Play, VG Cats, Digital Purgatory, and a few other web comics that are just plain weird.
There it is, that's my life, I go to school and read webcomics.
I love it so...
Oh, I'm also a proud Mac user. There, I said it. Assault me with your pointy, pointy words now.
Much as the price tag hurts, and the lack of customizeability (I just made up another word didn't I...) is tiresome, they're just plain nice.

Once I graduate I intend to get my law degree and devote myself full time to being Richard's Campaign Manager. We've already conquered a Little Village up the Coast, but Richard is great at keeping his long term goals in mind. He's hoping to make a run in 2012 for the Presidency. I can guarantee that he'd be a far better president than our last few - we wouldn't keep funneling money and troops into Iraq because there wouldn't be an Iraq. And as Richard's devoted Campaign Manager I am committed to seeing him elected to the Oval Office. He is also currently accepting volunteers into his campaign, especially in the publicity sector. He needs people to go out and distribute "Richard for President" buttons among the ignorant masses. You just can't be afraid to stab somebody with the button if they refuse to take it.

Jan 28 2007, 08:13 AM
Alright... you asked for it, and now you're gonna get it. Let me start by saying that, in this post and this post only, absolutely nothing is a joke. I promise to be completely honest (but just this once

)
"Demon in Shades of Gray" has been my online handle for YEARS, now. Most people either call me Demon or DISOG (pronounced "Dish-og", or so I'm told). Came up with it during one of my personal religious experiments. The religion didn't take, but I got a cool nick out of it.
Real name is Rick. Short for Richard.

I'm 22, and I live in an ugly little crap-hole town just southwest of Houston, Texas.
I work at Best Buy, selling computers, and I'm the second geekiest guy in the store. The first is a guy who sleeps with a calculator.
You're laughing, now... Don't. It gets better.
I'm a rampaging alcoholic, mostly because I can drink more liquor than some bars have in stock and still remain coordinated enough to ride a bicycle home.
I collect swords and daggers as a hobby. Fantasy is my passion. Dragons, wizards, knights... I'll take it all. I devour any fantasy story I can find.
I'm also a major theater geek. Performing or working behind the scenes, i've pretty much done it all. I worked with an improv troupe for a while. I was a mime, a juggler, and a stand-up comedian. As a director, I single-handedly put together a brilliantly acted show where the entire cast hated each other. I was rather proud of that, in a sick sort of way.
I'm a sarcastic asshole with ADD and a mouth that sailors would run screaming to hear.
Scottish by blood, and I'd be happy to put on a kilt and dance a jig on your arse to prove it.
At the moment, my only god is Rock and Roll.
and that's me in a very friggin big nutshell.

Other than that, I'm a closet DnD player. I play Anarchy Online, Guild Wars, and Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst.
My favorite webcomics are: Megatokyo, Penny Arcade, LFG, LICD, Foamy, VG Cats, Twisted Kaiju Theater, and Sabrina-Online in no order whatsoever. (I like what makes me laugh.)
I'm also a big fan of the .hack and Shadow Hearts games.

QUOTE (Valian @ Jan 27 2007, 04:12 AM)

I'll be another one defending you choice in computers :-D
