This one is especially funny in that [common sense aside], without pupils, we can never truly know just where Richard is looking.
Devin Austra
Thanks guys. Glad you liked it.
I was just browsing through the comic looking for good panels for my other ideas, and I thought, "You know, if I edited out Richard's "Do they?" speech bubble in that last panel, that would be ridiculously funny out of context."
I think I did a pretty damn good job of editing out that bubble too, considering MS Paint is all I have at my disposal.

Yus you did. I had to go back to the page to remember where the bubble even was.

Then I read it again, and noticed something I didn't before.

Why the hell would Richard have issues with waterboarding?
Chuint
Could have made his skin peel, how do dried corpses react to water?
Rip Van Ishmael
I dunno, I never saw him as the dried corpse type.

He is kinda gooey.

Nah, he's like a jelly filled donut that's been left in the sun.

Gooey on the inside, dry on the outside.

The Rule 35 ones are about anticipation of porn not yet in existence.(Which is true with Rule 35)

The Rule 34 one is about the porn already existing and why in this case the alternative is a lot better.

I never really noticed the dragon's shadow until today.
I was going to add a title and caption, but I think it gets the point across just fine without them. biggrin.gif

That could be the users first post. After that the User posted somewhere else. So that would still be the first post, no matter how high the post count is.

So with that information I don't see the point of that motivator.

(By the way. This is my 1832nd post, why should you care? Don't.

INDEED.
NOTE (AS I DID) MY VERY FIRST POST (THE ONE WITH AN IMAGE POSTED WRONG) SHOWS MY TOTAL POSTS TO DATE.
EVEN IF SENSELESS, I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY TO "DEMOTIVATE" IT.
THE FIRST INTENTION WAS TO MAKE A DEMOTIVATOR NOT INVOLVING A "COPY-PASTE" FROM THE COMIC.

Then why would you put it in a thread called 'LFG Motivators'?

No, see, that's a sense of irony.

I found a website that lets me easily change the text, with the correct font and size. Thank god; I was getting tired of all that cutting and pasting.

MAINLY BECAUSE I DIDN'T FIND/LOOK FOR A DEMOTIVATOR THREAD ON GENERAL DISCUSSION AND I TRULY THINK THAT EVEN HAVING THE COMIC STRIP AS ITS CORE AND ORIGIN, LFG AS A COMMUNITY HAS GROWN BIGGER AND ITS FORUM IS "LFG-Y" ENOUGH BY ITSELF.
ADDITIONALLY BECAUSE I SOUGHT TO WREACK HAVOC UPON THE FORUM (INSERT EVIL LAUGHTER)

NO, REALLY, I DID IT FOR THE FUN OF IT, NOT MEANING TO BOTHER ANYONE.
(THAT WOULD BE THEIR PROBLEM AND THEIRS ALONE)

NOW, TO STAY IN TOPIC, A DEMOTIVATOR:

THAT WAS FROM THE COMIC, WASN'T IT?

Seems like a useful website. Care to share?
Devin Austra
Well, you still have to do some cutting and pasting, but it's nowhere near the "save several comic pages to the computer, then open them all at once in Paint and copy each word letter by letter" method I was using before. With this, I can just type out what I want, hit print screen, open it in Paint and copy/paste it right into the speech bubble.

This site. Click on "try font", choose Atland BB Regular for the regular comic font (or use Atland BB Bold for exclamations) then type away. I think size 8 font is what the comic uses, and you can easily change it to white on black for Richard's speech bubbles.

Hello everyone. I really want to know the site you guys use to make these. I have some ideas. Thanks.

P.S it has something to do with paint? lol

Those are the three sites I use when I want a professional-looking demotivator. Some aren't good for really small images, one of them lets you crop the image, and some may have more options (font, color) than others.
Sometimes none of them will give me the result I want, or I have to edit the image first. In those cases, I use MS Paint.

My first Motivator. Hope you like. Probably been done with another picture before but eh'.

Most likely because I started comparing Cale to Drizzt since day one.

I would love to see them meet, and then see what would happen if richard met Drizzt. I beleive much fun would be had, and bad things.

Hi, I'm a long time reader and first time poster. I have to say all of the posters are awesome wink.gif. I was wondering if someone could make one with a picture of richard from the first few pages and one from the last few pages and have the text say something like: "Richard looking eviler by the page"
