That one made me laugh out loud for real. That's a great poster. cool.gif

And for those who don't know, I do ALL my posters in Paint. Fiddle with it a bit and they look just fine. Photoshop is not necessary for a good poster.

If you have a mac, Seashore works just like paint, but you can add another layer if you want. It's been a good stand in for Paint. Actually, i think i like it better! smile.gif

oh, and great demotivators everyone!

Haven't gotten Photoshop on my laptop yet, so mods from me are yet to come, but I'm enjoying these so far. biggrin.gif

That's no excuse! wink.gif I did this one at http://diy.despair.com/motivator.php. They are hoping that you will want it printed out by them, but they make it easy to download it to your computer for free. The only thing is that they fit it to an 11x14 aspect ratio, and they will crop the graphic you submit so it works. Of course, you have to crop what you submit first, and maybe fix it up a little, if necessary. But the website automatically does the hard part.

A second idea for the text is growing on me:

OK, now let's see what you can do! cool.gif

One problem with that, it requires going and buing a mac...

true, but once you do, the program is free! See, that makes it totally... worth... never mind.

I forgot to post the one motivational poster for the one guy that looked like Jamie Hyneman's second death.

Alright, First Motivational poster I've ever made. I just couldn't resist.

Commence telling me of it's suckage.
Gerfodger
WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN 'START'!?!?!

That said, my new one carries on from my previous dirty one

Not sure if thats how you spell it, but I put it onto google and I kept getting something about electricity :S

Y'know, if I uploaded images often I would probably switch to photobucket. Imageshack is making it very hard to get the direct image file, you know, like it's supposed to be able to do. I don't want some lame ass preview image that people have to click, Imageshack. Geez.
hhh221
oh god, the fanfics are just going to get wierder from here on in.
Moneneko
xD I should read one of these fics, just for the lulz.

And here's another one from my crappy mind! biggrin.gif (I'm really surprised that no one did anything with this yet)

Shadow-Thief
It's not that I missed it; I just knew it would be done and didn't do it!

...okay, I missed it. ^is full of win.

The idea for this popped into my head one day. I like the look on Pella's face. It's too bad Cale looks like he's going the wrong way with his shirt. Oh, well. They aren't playing with wildcards, BTW.

BTW, I found out that doing beveled boarders are harder than I expected with my program. There's probably a way to get double-beveled boarders, but I was using a bump map and couldn't get the light directly overhead. huh.gif I was using the GIMP, btw.

FINE. Next post I make on here will include a motivator (funniness not guaranteed). Happy? tongue.gif

Back soon.

I'm going to repost all my past posters AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP IT!

...except if you happen to be an admin.

(note, these are not in any particular order, chronological or otherwise)

My first one, not that good in my opinion. She looked creepier on the page than she does here.

I thought of this, and I instantly had to stop what I was doing and make the poster.

And because I don't have any image hosting...this will disappear soon, like my last one did. Somebody want to archive? (or give me the site to do it myself...a lot of them have REALLY invasive registration, and I don't like that)

Anyway...for now! (They're a set...mind you.)

I'm using myNetImages, which is a free site that's been in beta mode without any maintenance for over a year. How long it will be around or stay free is anyone's guess. The reason I picked it was that it was one of the few sites that I could find that accepted gifs. IIRC you just need an email address to create an account. I've not received any further emails from them, and can't even remember what address I gave them, so I don't see why you couldn't get away with a disposable address if you wanted.

I'll copy your images if you want, but I'd prefer that you try getting your own account first. If you see something that you don't like, you can back out.

Some good stuff there people, particulary the flaming homosexual one XD

I got THREE more for ya:

Im not really spotting the good stuff anymore sad.gif

FWIW: the real Elvis. I'd bet I'm the only person who thought of juxtaposing those two. I'm sure no one else was reminded of Robin Williams doing Elmer Fudd's version of Bruce Springsteen's "Fire", either. rolleyes.gif

TomTom's suck, especially the name. GARMIN FTW!
ryannayr417
My family got a GPS for our van, I named it GLaDOS
Devin Austra
I thought TomTom sounded better for the poster.

My cousin has a Garmin and loves it. She calls it Mrs. Garmin, as in "We're lost. Let's ask Mrs. Garmin." It's handy, but it didn't help us get to the airshow a couple of months ago. Cops had blocked off the main entrance, which wouldn't have been able to handle the volume of vehicles. Everyone had to drive through a field on the other side of the airport to get to the huge temporary parking lot, and many roads were temporarily blocked or one-way. Of course, Mrs. Garmin tried to direct us to the main entrance. We ended up driving around the airport a couple of times before finding the proper entrance. dry.gif

GLaDOS led my family around the hotel to a house that was on fire with firetrucks all over. I think it was a sign.
Rip Van Ishmael
Not a motivator, but the notion amused me...

Gerfodger
Continuing from one of my last ones

And another one.
Boboid
I have a favor to ask, due to my total inability to get off my ass and make a motivator myself.. Could someone make a motivator out of the bottom left hand pannel of page 15? somthing along the lines of.... " Roleplayers.. Nobody likes them" :P
Ap' anon
Oh the irony...

but here...

For Princess Magpie and the other fan girls (and gay fan boys, too, I guess):

Of course, I hope they realize that Cale is wearing one of these. dry.gif
